Samsung Core I3 Laptop Review

I picked out the i3 quad core mini with 8GB of RAM with the intention of using it as a media center computer to drive my 4K tv. Even though it is a pretty low spec the machine is very snappy and can display 4k60 video for hours without any hiccups. I was a little worried about whether 8GM of RAM would be enough, but so far the system only uses about 6-7GB of RAM for my needs. The computer never gets that warm and I can't hear any fan noise when sitting about 8 feet away from it.

This helped bring my old laptop to life. An i3 6th gen with 6gb ram struggling on a spinning platter has been revived. Its now let me use InDesign on it as well

It is really fast - much faster than I expected. It consistently boots up nearly as fast as a Chromebook. It loads web pages in the blink of an eye (using Ethernet.) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always have been a Samsung fan to having their 850 EVO ssd in my old desktop PC to having the Samsung Z Fold, to the galaxy watch and earbuds. I really needed more space on my laptop and this was a perfect upgrade. Installation was simple since this was my first M.2 NVMe ssd, and the use of Samsung Magician software you can use for cloning the drive is great. I could tell that the SSD that came with the laptop vs the 990 pro, once I booted up windows I could tell a difference. I usually have multiple browsers open or gaming on my laptop and with this new gen 4 drive really made things feel really quick. This Samsung 990 Pro was so amazing that I might actually buy the 2TB version for my second slot on my laptop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This top of the line NVMe drive from Samsung continues their legacy of producing top of the line solid state drives. The speeds are around 7000Mbps read and write if installed in a desktop or laptop that supports PCIe 4.0 x4. I first tested the drive in a external enclosure and then moved it over to my laptop and getting it installed and setup was no problem. No software comes in the box but you can get Samsung's Magician software from their website. That software is a must if you want to manage, monitor, or customize your drive. Make sure to keep your drive firmware updated too as those can often provide fixes for existing or newly discovered issues. This drive has been great so far and I'll continue to use it as my primary boot drive. Gaming load times have noticeably improved for me too!

It has blazing fast speeds of 200mb/s read and 130mb/s write. Perfect for lightning speed transfers of documents, photos, or data. The memory card comes with a nice sturdy adapter for convenience when using on a computer or laptop. I've used this card in my laptop and it's worked flawlessly. My laptop is able to recognize it right away and I've had no issues using the card reader or the memory card itself. The storage capacity of 128gb is enough for most people but probably not enough for medium format cameras where the files are enormous. The 128gb is surely enough for most digital cameras that take this size memory card. Ultimately, it comes down to quality and durability and I believe that this card will work well as most of my Samsung tech gadgets have lasted for many years.

It's excellent for transferring files photos and perfect for enthusiasts and hobbyists alike. The memory card comes with a great well crafted adapter for convenience when using on anything that carries a usb slot such as a laptop or desktop computer. It is recognized instantly in my laptop without any installation needed. The storage (128gb) is enough for your average consumer but maybe not enough hardcore photographers because of file size. This card is enough for daily use and taking pictures on special trips. The adapter is a great addition and holder for the card in case of loss. Samsung makes great tech and continues to impress.
