Samsung Culture Washing Machines

I have been using Samsung SSDs since the 830, and the pro version since the 840 pro came out both in my own machines and clients and have never had any issues at all and great speed from the drives. Definitely some of the most reliable drives available! 5 |

We upgraded the C disks on two Win 7 PRO SP1 64-bit machines: the current C disks were Samsung 840 PRO 256GM SSDs; the new C disks were the 1TB versions of the PRO 260 line. The transition was really easy using the Samsung Data Migration software from their web site. We also used an inexpensive disk caddy while that software was running. The machines have been up for a week or so with the new C disks and we have experienced no problems, same as with the 840's we replaced. The price drop for this technology made the updates very inviting. Note, you can get Samsung EVO SSD's for a lot less. They are a quality product too but the warranty period is shorter. 5 |

I use these in a variety of machines and they get worked very hard. I am averaging 2+ years with the Samsung drives under these conditions. I have played around with a number of brands and these are the best of breed in my experience. 5 |

Leading brand of memory that is trusted, works great and has a great warranty. Samsung SSDs is all I use in my machines. Did I forget to mention that they also lightning fast :) 5 |

I install Samsung SSD in all my client machines, as well as my personal ones. They have no moving parts, which makes them ideal for laptops that get moved and/or tossed around. Performance is stellar. Win7 and new can use the Magician software to enable RAPID mode (disk cache), which is ideal on battery powered laptops to ensure no data loss from a power outage. The PRO is more durable than the EVO series, and priced accordingly. PRO is for heavy use. Leave 5~10% of the disk as raw/unallocated for automatic wear leveling. 5 |

Since the inception of Sony what haven’t they done to make a mark in Pop-Culture, Movies, Music, Photography and many more fields requiring top of the line innovations for all hobbies alike. I would absolutely love to be a tester of products for Sony. They produce one of the absolute best Smart Phones but largely Ignored because of Apple. I know I can change that and it does start with the PS5. Sony products prove time and time again their superiority over others, but “fan boys” feel a sense of being faithful. Let’s change that! 5 |

Just upgraded from '08 MacBookPro to '14 27 Retina iMac & almost had culture shock with the changes from OS X 10.6 to 10.10. I've been on the phone every 2nd day looking for help getting to grips with my new toy. Had a few technical problems, which were quickly resolved. My keyboard went 'phut' & got a new one over the counter at Apple Store. No problem. This is my 4th Apple product & excluding the 1st (I was poor then) got Apple Care for each & between replacement wallwarts & servicing, plus calls for help, they were good value. 5 |

In a more vigorous, warlike culture we might store our expensive Canon lenses in a bag fashioned from the shrunken skin we removed from a slain enemy's head. But then again we probably wouldn't have DSLRs in such a culture, so it's probably a moot point. Great bag, made to fit the lens, a little pricey, but what are you going to do? 5 |
