Samsung D800 Charger

After our Nikon charger died (the one that came with our D800) we got this as a replacement. Obviously, it's great that it's a dual charger, but the interchangeable battery plates has been huge for us. A year after buying this charger, we acquired some LP-E6 (Watson branded) to power a video monitor and we only had to spend $5 to get two new battery plates for the new batteries. Now we can charge one EN-EL15 and one LP-E6 or two of the same kind. Bonus - there's a USB port that can charge your phone or battery bank, whatever. Comes in handy.

This charger came as part of a kit with my D800 and I'm glad it did. It does a great job of charging batteries and quickly and offers multiple ways to charge. Also love that it can charge more than one batter. The LCD display is a nice add-on so it's clear when the battery is fully charged. It also seems to allow for different charging shoes for different battery types though I haven't looked further into that. The only downside is that getting the batteries out can sometimes be annoying as the shoe will come out with the battery instead of just the battery.

I have only used the charger to charge Pearstone brand batteries and it works as it should. I needed a charger that I could use while in a car for D800 batteries. It's great! I also bought the small AC wall wart to use with it but I guess I could just have used an extension cord. Some have said that the adapter comes off when removing the battery but I haven't had that problem. I am also going to get the adapter for D200 batteries. I really like the charger and for the price you can't go wrong.

Needed a second charger so mI can charge two batteries at once and save time. The one that came with my D800 works perfect so I'll stick with OEM.
