Although the TV itself comes with good speakers, I wanted to enhance the 4K experience with a solid Dolby Atmos capable system. The best option was undoubtedly the Samsung Q990D, but my budget didn't allow for it. The next best I could afford was the Samsung Q800D, and it didn't fail to impress me at all. The soundbar itself sounded so rich and full compared to my old system. The bass vibrated my floor, and everything sounded incredibly crisp and clear. Q-Symphony is one of the best features available when you have a Samsung sound system paired with a Samsung TV. I was already in love with my setup, but when I realized the soundbar could be paired with rear speakers, I quickly purchased the Samsung SWA-9500s. I was blown away by the overall experience, so much so that I rewatched all my movies just to experience the sheer excellence of my complete sound system. The Samsung Q800D soundbar paired with the SWA-9500s rear speakers has elevated my home theater experience to a whole new level. The combination of Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony, and powerful sound has turned my living room into a cinematic masterpiece. If you're looking to invest in a high-quality sound system, I highly recommend this setup. It's a perfect blend of performance and value.

Initially, I purchased it to replace my existing Samsung soundbar, and the Dolby Atmos support, combined with the compatibility with my existing subwoofer and rear speakers, significantly enhanced my movie-watching experience. However, the real magic happened when I paired it with my new Samsung G8 OLED monitor. The soundbar's compact size fits perfectly under the monitor, and the sound quality is simply outstanding for both movies and video games. The Dolby Atmos adds an incredible level of immersion, making game sounds feel incredibly realistic and engaging. Connectivity has been seamless with both my Samsung TV and monitor, which is a huge plus. The SmartThings app is a great substitute for the lack of an LED display, offering convenient control over various settings. While HDMI passthrough would have been a nice addition, I understand the constraints in this form factor. Overall, the Samsung HW-S60D has exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is superb, the Dolby Atmos is immersive, and the compatibility is excellent. pros i have paired my tv with samsung q800a soundbar and it works perfectly well. one thing to note here is that this tv does not support q-symphony you cant really get the tv+soundbar through earc however tv+soundbar works for me on wifi mode. having said that you would not be able to enjoy dolby atmos, dolby digital plus audio formats using wifi. cons the frame does not support dolby vision or dts:x which is a big drawback. even samsung q series soundbars support dolby vision passthrough and dts:x audio.

For years we have been using the speakers from the television and thought it sounded ok. Now that we have the Phillips soundbar we realize what we have been missing out on! The sound is fantastic and super clear. We put the wireless subwoofer at the back of the room so we have the thumping part comes from behind making you feel like you are in a movie theater. The soundbar was very easy to install and we have it sitting right below the television. We have always been a fan of the Phillips brand and this product is holding up to their quality reputation.
