Samsung Ergo Monitor

I bought this monitor for work. The ergo stand is very convenient. Image quality is great. The only thing is I can't put this monitor directly in front of me because the monitor is too close to my eyes. You need a bigger desk for that. I was able to play with the angle using the ergo stand.

Preface: I'm a noob when it comes to picking monitors, my only monitor prior to this for the last ~8 years was an old cheap 24 LED Dell from 2012. I'm also a student that uses Adobe PS/AI/ID and Solidworks a lot. I bought this monitor for my workstation to have a second monitor with good color for my art assignments. I was working off of my one, sad little monitor and I got tired of having to spend time switching back and forth between tabs or use my laptop to follow tutorials and stuff for school. I was looking for an under $500 IPS 32 high res monitor. Finding a flat monitor with good color was important, performance in gaming was not a concern. I spent a month comparing the specs on different monitors and this one had the best specs while staying in budget, learned a lot in the process. The LG ultrafine was a little too extra for me, and I didn't need the ergo arm, so I chose this one. Waited for it to release to see reviews which came out very good, and then the price dropped $40 so it was time to buy. I have had it about 3 weeks and so far it has delivered! Really happy with it. Never going back. No issues from out of the box, but I got the protection just in case. It's surprisingly light for how big it is, I was able to hold it up with one hand while installing it on my ergo arm without a sweat. It came with one power cable, one HDMI cable, and one Display Port cable. Also it matches my PC case and desk with white/black color scheme, although that wasn't important, but it's nice for aesthetics.

I bought this monitor in the beginning of 2022 to enhance my work from home setup. Realizing that I will spend so much time using my computer, I really looked forward to making that experience as enjoyable as possible. Previously, I was using a 1080 ultra wide monitor and it just wasn't working for me. I was having to constantly make larger head movements to see text on the outside edges of that monitor. I went with this 4K monitor and I found that it serves my purposes better because I get more height in my application windows and with the 4K resolution, I can still have multiple application windows open and visible at the same time. I bought this monitor over the model with the Ergo stand included because I already had a slim monitor arm that works well for my desk area, and I didn't need all the additional features of the Ergo model. This is a great monitor for me and I recommend it! If you don't already have a monitor arm or need USB-C connectivity, then the Ergo model is the way to go.

I haven't used any monitor in a while. I am in need to work with my MacBook Pro for my study. Vertical monitor with Ergo stand which is space safe for my tiny desk. Highly recommend for those always use premier pro or video editing software.

I really like this monitor it's a definite upgrade from my 32" samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 32” ViewFinity S8 4K UHD Monitor was shipped to me via UPS. The package arrived at my door without a signature required. I was alerted by the UPS application that my package was delivered from Samsung Electronics America. I opened the package and was immediately stunned by the size of the monitor. It was twice the size of my smaller monitors. It was easy to set up and it only required two cords. The monitor immediately synced with my computer and was active the second i plugged in the device. I have another monitor plugged in and both monitor immediately went to three monitor setup. It was super easy to set up and was extremely surprised by how well the set up went. I do get a message on the screen asking for me to register the product. Although, it doesn't seem like i can click the message with my mouse and have had trouble using the message to launch the registration. The other issue i have faced is the recommended resolution on the Samsung Monitor is actually above what my current graphic card allows. Otherwise, the experience has been phenomenal, and would highly recommend this monitor.
