Samsung Ergotron Monitor

The Ergotron HX is holding my Samsung 49-inch G9 and it is simply outstanding. It clears up considerable desk space and allows me to position the monitor exactly as I want. It was easy to put together and attach to my desk and the monitor. Ergotron really did their homework when they designed this arm. It is well worth the price.

I installed a 34 inch Samsung S34J55x on this arm and it works perfectly. The monitor weighs about 15 lbs. The arm allows me to position the monitor so that the viewing distance is about 18 inches. The arm extends the monitor about 22 inches from its base. This is my second successful Ergotron install. Several years ago I installed two 24 inch monitors on an Ergotron dual monitor arm. The results were excellent which led to my purchase of the LX model.

Though my monitor was on the lower end of the weight, Ergotron recommended this would be the better solution and they were right.

Installed easily on my new Ergotron WorkFit-S Dual Monitor with Worksurface+ so I now have a 24" monitor on one side, and the laptop functioning as a monitor on the right side. Coupled with a full-size keyboard and mouse, and it works fantastically. As someone with a history of pinched nerves in my neck from poor work habits, this combination has been a life saver.

The Ergotron is well-built and accommodates a variety of monitor and computer options. The unit arrived well-packaged and partially assembled. Final assembly and setup took less than an hour. Using the desk, the sit/stand function works well, and the adjustable tension/lift-assist makes it easy to move the desk up and down. The casters are great on hard floors or tight pile carpeting. Overall, this is a great desk. It's a more expensive, but you get what you pay for in the quality of the build.

We have been using these Ergotron Arms for several years now, and they are very durable. Very easy to use, and do a good job at holding the monitor in place even when using a touch screen.

The Ergotron HX monitor arm is hefty, and stable. Unfortunately, I bought it to match up with a light (10lb) monitor (the LG 27UL650-W), so much of the capabilities were overkill, and settings were at minimum. However, I bought this with the intent to purchase a VESA iMac in the next product refresh and expect to crank up the arm's resistances then. It came with the tools and mounts to do either a clamp, or grommet-style installation. I used the grommet-style, and it is solidly attached to the 1 bamboo top I have on my electric standup desk. In my experience, there's no wobble when I type either at the lowest desk height (27), and at the tallest (40). But obviously, YMMV. The 10-year warranty is nice to have. The only downside is the price. Hopefully it proves to be a buy it for life kind of item. :)

We have used these monitor arms for years now. We have tried others that just did not live up to expectations. The Ergotron Arms are not the cheapest but they work the best over time!

The Ergotron 45-243-026 is well matched to my 11 pound, 27 4k display. Angle, reach, and height are easily adjustable. Well designed and made. Installation was easy and straight forward, although instructions suggest otherwise. Wall mount version separates monitor from any desk vibration. Now my monitor is steady even when I am using the keyboard, yet the monitor can still be easily adjusted for height, reach, and angle. For my monitor, I didnt need to adjust joint tension. Factory preset tension was OK. Plug and play...what is there not to like?
