Samsung Fixed Camera Baby Video Monitor

The power supply was purchased for a video monitor that also uses batteries, but since I spend most of my time filming from a fixed location, a constant AC power source made the most sense and gave me the greatest value.

Tried other brands baby monitor and lots of problems. and end up using ecobee as baby monitor, quality of the video is good and audio monitoring is great. Ease of setup.

It has a wide angle view and tilt feature, that allows you to capture the whole room. It's very easy to use, you just plug and it's ready to go.

The screen has many options and the Manuel makes the walk thru easy enough kids could use it. If your looking for quality with a sweet price tag look no furthwr.

This is the best little thing I have gotten lately. I have a Canon MK4 and the LCD is therefore fixed. I wanted to be able to place the camera near the ground without having to crawl in the mud and get the low shots. This fills the bill. I can tilt the monitor up on the support arm and get a perfect image on the monitor. Things to know are that the monitor only works in live view and the Canon battery is a little hard to install. The battery needs to be lined up by pressing a button on the side. This works fine once you get a little practice. This is offset by the fact it uses the same battery as my camera. It is light and fits snugly on the camera. You need a HDMI to HDMI mini and NOT and a HDMI micro. I got the micro cable by mistake. Correct cable correct fixed everything. Only down side for me is having to install the cable and the arm and attaching them to the camera .A tripod is needed. Oh, the unit does have a sunshade. It attaches easily as the hook side of the Velcro is attached the monitor and the shade is easy to line up.

I got a Levana baby monitor for my son and was looking for a camera mount that would work with it, since Levana discontinued theirs. I found this one and decided to give it a shot. It attaches easily to the crib and since it has rubber feet, it won't damage the crib. It's easily maneuverable, so you won't have a problem getting a good view.

I've had the Smart Camera for about almost a week now and so far we are loving it. We got it mainly to use as a baby monitor, we we came across this one when researching for a video baby monitor; it's really neat that this is a home security camera with a baby monitor mode, so if we ever go on holidays or when our child gets older we can repurpose it. We were hesitant to get it at first, as I have found very few reviews about this product being used as a baby monitor, since it is a newer feature. We went ahead and ordered it because of the features and cost and glad we did! It arrived within a few days and was super easy to set up, including connecting to my Apple home network for Apple HomeKit Secure Video (nice being able to view the camera on the Home app, and even on Apple TV). The baby mode of the camera seems to work really well - the continuous audio function works well to be able to listen to the audio from the camera even when we close out of the app to open a different one or to lock the phone. Haven't used it yet but the activity zones or recording when there's motion seem to be good features. One thing that would be nice on it would be a built in thermometer/humidity reading like many other baby monitors have (I know ecobee has a thermostat and sensors, but living in an apartment don't want to buy the sensors if the thermostat won't be a good investment here).
