Samsung Flat Monitor Ces

I really like this monitor it's a definite upgrade from my 32" samsung.

Got this television to replace a very old flat panel. The picture on the CU8000 is great and it's light enough to move around without an issue. The one thing that really needs either changing or better explanation is Samsung's user interface. It is awful. Moving from HDMI 1 (in this case, cable) to HDMI 2 (AppleTV) and HDMI 4 (a rarely used DVD player) takes WAY too many steps. Why there is no input button on the remote is beyond me. Samsung all but forces you to use their connections for any streaming service. Beyond the UI, great TV at a great price.

Amazing flat screen with all the features you expect from Samsung, coupled with the ‘No Gap Wall Mount’ it looks incredible on the wall, like a piece of art. The one connection box makes life much easier, allowing a tidy one cable on show, all others hidden away. Had loads of compliments how good the tv looks, top work Samsung!

The setup was easy. The legs/stand installs with easy. I had the TV powered on in less than 10 minutes. Things I like: * The remote control is very simple and easy to use. The voice controls work well * The TV's bezel is only a 1/4 inch thick * Connecting to WIFI and ethernet was a breeze. The tv automatically installs the latest firmware updates * The picture is impressive. It's very bright and sharp. The deep blacks add to the detailed picture * Casting content to the tv is very straightforward * The sound is decent for a flat screen tv. Realistically, I would not expect too much in the way of impressive from a flat panel. Things that can be improved: * The Samsung Smart Things user interface needs major improvements. It is not the easiest menu system to navigate * You must sign up for a Samsung account to install apps on the tv * The user interface freezes from time to time Overall, I would recommend this tv simply for the impressive picture. It's what Samsung is known for, and they did not disappoint with this new model. I personally use my Chromecast to cast content to the tv.

Bought two for 55 Samsung flat screens. Worked great. Very solid. Good instructions. Came with bolts to connect to all the different hole sizes on various TVs (lots of bolts.) I'll buy the same model next time I need one. Arrived on promised day.

Switching from and LG 24" flat (2yrs old) to this Samsung 24" Curved and let me tell you, it's night and day. First of, going from 1000:1 to 3000:1 ratio makes you feel how crisp pixels are. Also, you have dynamic, gamer and eyes saver mode which are pretty neet. Easy to install, plug and play in a jiffy!
