I purchased a Roku Express a few months ago and the remote used on a Samsung TV is terrible. I think there is problem with the volume buttons. I went through all trouble shooting - no luck Roku's answer is "buy a new remote" which means pay to replace your non-working item (it was like this when I got it).

I did not need a Roku and Fire Stick to support my new TV due to Samsung's app catalog. Flawless. Also, setup was a breeze. Samsung tv's for now on! My Samsung TV was very slow to load catalogs and wouldn't always load an app. It was very frustrating, but the Roku Streaming Stick + solved that problem.

The Roku Ultra is replacing the apps I've been using on my 4 YO, 65" Samsung Smart TV. Setup was swift and without any drama. I've since not had any issues such as delays or dropouts. The audio capabilities via Dolby Atmos sound better as well.
