Samsung Frost Free Upright Freezer

So far the extension tube is great! I have gotten to use it on some frost and ice and also created some frozen bubbles!!

Ran fridge, coffee maker and freezer. Good backup!

This don't keep it cool....then may I suggest putting your drive in the freezer.

During the extreme cold weather (-35) here in Montana frost patterns emerged in our bedroom window. I used my old Canon 100mm macro USM lens on my Sony A7R3 with a Sigma MC-11 adapter. Ambient lighting was insufficient for handheld macro, but the ring light gave me a very useable ISO 1600 at 1/2000 at f8. I use high capacity rechargeable lithium batteries for optimum performance.

Sturdy and feels like it will hold up to the weight I'm going to be putting in it. 2 C-stands, A roll of 250 frost a small flag bag, and 2 by frame kit all fit easily.

Sets up and tears down quickly and easily tucked into camera bag. Solid frost and a light grid front diffusers are included. Would not think of shooting talent without using this soft box as it takes the sting out of having to look at the camera and perform. Although it will take away some of your more distant lumens, the eye pleasing qualities of it's output are more than worth the sacrafice.

I followed Youtube reviews by Christopher Frost snd Dustin Abbott. Impressed by sharpness edge to edge over zoom range and apertures with no caveats. Also, lack of coma and control of chromatic aberration. I don’t mind the weight as it is for special occasions. I am very pleased with the results I am getting. Good purchase.

I've mostly shot small objects at close range, (birds at a feeder, window frost, mushrooms), using a SONY A7RII camera. The results are sharp. I like the convenience of being able to toggle the auto focus and steady shot on/off using the lens switches. Manual focus with peaking is necessary when working with difficult to focus subjects like window frost. The removable tripod mount enable comfortable hand holding. The lens hood has a sliding opening whereby you can rotate a polarizing filter with the hood on.
