Samsung Gear 360 Vr Camera

I bought this because I needed a way to mount a Samsung Gear 360 camera from a monopod, but I needed it to get above my 6'4 height. This was the longest monopod I could find (at a decent price). Event though you read the dimensions on the site here, it's still impressive at how compact it gets when folded up and how height it extends to. The build quality is really sturdy and I feel it could probably handle my Canon 1DX with 100-400 lens. Worth the price!

I'm using this as a cage for the Zoom H3-VR, which fits perfectly inside, mounts a 360 camera on top, and fits on a light weight aluminum tripod. The entire rig weighs less than 5 lbs thanks to the aluminum Camvate cage. Great fit and finish, all threads are smooth, no flex in the cage, and the anodized black with white lettering is sharp.

I've owned most major VR devices in the market, from Samsung Gear VR to Oculus Go, Rift and HTC Vive. The Quest strikes the right balance of portability, performance and price. The user experience is very good right out of the box, and it's easy to bring it along and show it to others. I'm very happy with it.

This is a superb solution for using a tripod-based Monopod for shooting 360 VR or immersive movies. Even though one shot, two mens 360 cameras (Ricoh, Nikon, etc) have low mass and small surface areas and so one would think they could be placed on a monopod with a small tripod stabilizer and left alone, think again. I lost my first Ricoh Theta S to a sudden gust of wind that came from nowhere (first onshore of the morning). Over the rig went costing me 260.00. This Triad weight set is perfect for such an application, and although feet on a Monopod are not meant to turn it into a stable tripod, for the purposes of shooting spherical VR photography, it is the ideal solution.

This clamp with my VR 360° monopod show almost invisible! The sturdiness and padded teeth make it a go-to essential for my VR 360° kit.

We were looking for a lens to create 360-degree panorama VR videos (still images that allow you to look around) for a real estate client, but the price for a fisheye with 180-degree field of view was prohibitive...until we found this lens. The manual settings are a small price to pay for the savings and images that stitch together like a dream. This is a great way to get started with VR formats.
