The original battery for my Samsung SC-HMX-20C video camera died years ago, so I decided to get two replacement batteries for the camera. The Watson IA-BP85ST battery was the replacement and it worked great. Both batteries charged up without any problems and I used the camera for about an hour of recording on each battery and the camera said I still had 30 minutes of life left in the battery. I'm very happy with the batteries.

My lens was too front heavy at 600mm. I always had to clamp the gimbal because the stock foot is too short to balance at 600mm. The right foot from Sigma is a small fortune. For the price of the 150-600mm Sport, it would be quite helpful if Sigma would include both feet. This replacement foot is made long enough to give great options for balancing a Sport model fully extended. Now the lens is in perfect balance for smooth motion tracking at any length. It is also not as expensive as the OEM replacement foot. Fast and proper shipping in a box - not a bag.

Really nice replacement foot for the Sigma Sport. The Arcs Swiss design eliminates the need for an extra plate, and gives it a more professional look. It also provides more room between the foot and the lens, which makes it easy to carry. It's well made, easy to install, and is a worthwhile addition to a great lens. Well worth the cost.

I purchased Wimberley replacement foot for my Sigma 150-600mm Sport Lens. The extended length of the foot helps balance the lens when fully extended in 600mm in my Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Head VII. It fit perfectly and was easy to install.

With a limited budget, I wanted to up my gear. While happy with a Sigma Contemporary 150-600, the differences to the Sport are subtle, but totally noticeable. 1) Contrast. The color contrast on the Sport is more lush that what I was getting on the Contemporary. 2) Micro-Detail. As a bird / nature photographer, I am getting better micro-detail from the Sports. It's the little details that pop. 3) Sharpness. Minimal, but also better. 4) Weather Sealing. Not that I'm out jumping around in puddles. I worry far less when my rig gets some drizzle, or if I'm shooting shore birds at the beach with the Contemporary acting as a dust pump. The downside to the Sport. 1) It's 2 + pounds heavier. If you shoot free-hand, be ready to put on some muscle. Break even points from the Sports and the Contemporary - 1) AF speed is about the same. I don't notice a faster acquisition on the Sports. 2) Light still needs to be the same. If it's grey out, the net shooting results will be the same for both lenses. In the end. I'm VERY happy with my purchase of the Sports. It's a keeper for my nature photography.
