While the Samsung HD is ok naked I strongly suggest using the enclosure

I needed to get some info off a HD from my laptop when it died. It worked perfect.

This TV is a lot easier to use than the Samsung HD we bought 11 years ago. Direct access to Netflix & Amazon Prime Video, and more manageable controls for everything else. Easy set-up, and this time, our Sonos soundbar is connected directly via HDMI and is controlled by the same controller as the TV. Great improvement.

Plugged the unit in to six Samsung HD 65" TV's and the other end in to an HP i7 PC. Image quality was incredible (Used in Radiology lab). The HP even found a sound device and audio came out of every TV. More than I expected from this switcher!! A++

This TV replaces a six year old 4K Ultra HD television. I purchased the Samsung QN65QN90D inorder to watch football and the baseball playoffs. The motion and color capabilities make watching sports a real treat. I cannot believe the detail I was missing with my old TV. I have a Reciever and 5.1 speaker system connected but most of the time I use the TV speakers...they are that good. TV has a broad selection of picture and sound settings. The picture quality is unbelievable. Some of the most beautiful actors and actresses are not as beautiful now and actually look human. I did not like the Samsung TV remote initially but now I love the size and full functionality. The TV has a Filmmaker mode which now makes my TV room into a theater. Would highly recommend this TV. I replaced the HD in my Toshiba with this Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD. Its amazing, it use to take 4 minutes to boot my machine, now it takes 40 sec.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watch all things video, but mostly movies. We have Satellite and Off-Air as well as internet streaming. Our first HD TV was a Samsung 56" DLP light bulb rear projection set. It was the best for HD back in 2003. After 10 years though it failed and we purchased a 70" 4K flat screen. At the time there was no large size DLP 4K sets to choose from at a price we could afford. When that set failed last December we had to find something new. Our son still had his 56" Samsung DLP LED rear projection set (he was between homes and was not using it) and we put it in our living room. Wow is all I can say. I had forgotten how great the DLP was or had gotten used to the Flat screen. Seeing this 12 year old DLP still looking great and only HD was amazing. I had seen on the internet that Samsung had come up with a new short throw projector. So I quickly researched it to see what it was about. It was just what i was looking for. We had been wanting to get a large picture size for some time but couldn't justify the cost as our flat screen was working. When it failed it was all on to find the best and largest picture. The 130" screen size was perfect for our living room. Some have said what's wrong with a 36" screen, no comment is all I can say. When purchased the new Samsung projector we purchased a 120" screen designed for Short throw projectors was ordered. It arrived the day before the projector. All of our view is unbelievable, like going to the theater only you don't drive

I am very happy about this monitor, It is very lightweight and super bright, good quality external screen. I am using it to attach my new Samsung S21 mobile. I am using Samsung Dex on this screen. Very easy to install and plug and play screen. Resolution is good to see HD movies or play HD game. Screen can be used both landscape and portrait mode. This is excellent monitor at this price.

I have been using this TV for about 3 months now. It works great, the HD is awesome and I am enjoying the free Samsung channels!
