I like the rubber material. Allows you to twist it a bit when trying to access the screw holes during mounting and should be gentle on the headphones on the occasional bump during hanging. The 3M VHB pre-applied tape is a great touch, but I would not trust it beyond assisting with positioning and installation. The included screws are definitely necessary and thankfully pretty small as pre-drilling into the table surface was pretty difficult (the hangers block access to the holes for something like a power drill). Does hold two pairs of my full-size Sennheiser headphones nicely (enough room for wider bands and padding). Had used a table edge mount before but that type does not fit well on all tables and the clamps needed to be re-tightened every so often. 5 |
