Plus, you can sync your favorite devices, such as mobile, tablets, notebooks/laptops, or any Bluetooth audio\video player to it. I find this very practical because, not only can you watch or stream your favorite shows or movies, but you can also hear your podcasts or music through it. It has crisp and enriching noise levels that were tested with a couple of devices, which is another factor I really like about this unit. Comes bundled with a comfortable and easy-to-use control (batteries included) for adjusting your preferred audio settings and connectivity method. Plus, metal brackets for suspending it from whichever place you prefer. One of my pictures below shows all the things that come with it. Did I even mention that, unlike most soundbars, it comes with a subwoofer? Well, now you know, it does come with a powerful enough subwoofer that can deliver to enhance your theatre-like experience. The Samsung HW-Q800D is meant to replace an older 2.1 soundbar that vastly lacked in volume and surround features. Can the Samsung HW-Q800D make a difference in such a voluminous space? Let me tell you that it can and then some. First off, let’s talk about connectivity. If you have HDMI eARC on your TV, connect it there, and you are off to the races. If you want Bluetooth connectivity to your phone or tablet, that’s also easy enough as well. Finally, if you want to connect to WiFi to make it a smart speaker with Google Assistant, Alexa, or Bixby that’s easy enough with the Samsung SmartThings app. The sound stage for the HW-Q800D truly does impress even in a large room such as mine. I tested the surround channels through my gaming console settings, and the sound bar’s ability to produce discrete locations for sound that clearly defined height and depth truly is astounding. Credit goes to SpaceFit Sound Pro for being able to calibrate the space in my room for the optimal listening experience. I watched various movies and programs to test the sound quality and was truly amazed at the clarity of dialogue (even better with Active Voice Amplifier on), the rumble of bass from action scenes, and the fidelity of music from soundtracks. Believe me when I say it is a very enjoyable and immersive experience. I have found that even with streaming music and programming that only has 5.1 or stereo, this system makes everything sound all that much better. Now, the only drawback to this soundbar is if you truly wanted the extra surround stage with rear speakers. If your set-up does not require this, then this is truly the best choice for a single surround soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X capabilities.

Replaced an old samsung 2.1 sound bar. This is so much better. I can hear clear dialogue and never need to mess with the volume when changing channels as I had to with my old system. Set up was quick easy. Vizio is a good quality product.
