Samsung J2 Charger Voltage

for international customers, I'd like to confirm this is actually dual voltage despite what Samsung prints on the label on the back cover. Great TV! 5 |

The charger and batteries work well, I made a mistake of buying some other rechargeable batteries with the wrong voltage for my 35mm Nikon which sadly didn’t work. These came, I charged them, put them in the camera and they made my old camera work great! 5 |

This is a must-have piece of kit in my opinion. If you have spare batteries or a charger that has d-tap and the right voltage/amps this enables you to use it on the BMPCC 6K Pro to just add all day battery. 5 |

Love this charger as it seems to charge my batteries faster then the one that comes with my camera. It will charge one or both battery at the same time. It will charge two different type/voltage of batteries at the same time! The adaptors for different batteries need to be purchase separately but they are not expensive. The unit will also check your battery voltage and how much charge if left in the battery in percentage. Clear LED display. Display always stay on but not so bright that it will annoy you at night. - highly recommended item. 5 |

I immediately unpacked, plugged-in, and started testing and charging batteries when the Watson Duo arrived. Mounting a battery with the device unplugged from power, the screen reports the percent remaining charge left on the battery, and pressing Test, the measured voltage from the battery. Finally, no more balancing VOM, +/- probes and the battery to track voltage loss! Plugged-in, the charger reports the same information for each battery on the display, and indicates it's charging by the flashing top unit in the graphic battery indicator. Love it!! Wanting to change battery plates, I held the charger in my hands like playing a game played using thumbs, and pushed one of the plates towards the back of the charger, like I would with any of the plates for my eight year old Pearstone plug-in-the-wall chargers. The plate would not budge! Tried the other plate on the other side of the Duo, same thing!?!? Confustion ensued, LOL!! The manual has a minimal graphic showing installing the plate, not taking it off. So, after fiddling awhile and dismissing the use of screwdriver, it was back to thumbs pressed and squeezing hard against the corners of one of the plates, then progressively increasing the pressure applied, until it popped free! It took several similar remove of a plate from each side of the Duo using this technique the plates supplied with the Duo were easily removable. The good news is that my Pearstone plates are the same plate as the Watson plates. They fit perfectly on the Duo, and mount and dismount easily. I really like the features on this charger; the voltage/capacity display, the USB power/charging output, the car adapter input and being able to charge a different type and/or voltage batteries at the same time on this charger. Highly recommended this Watson Duo for its simplicity, quality and features. I always look for great value over the long-run, and this charger overwhelmingly fits the bill. Thanks, AGAIN, B&H! 5 |

I have two of these chargers. They are well built and powerful. However, that power comes with a string attached - if you want to rapidly charge a Mavic 3 battery the input voltage has to be greater than produced by a typical full charged 12 volt battery. DJI tells us this - stating that we should use the charger only with the car running. However, the specifications state that the input voltage needs to be 12.7 - 16 volts DC. Which led me to assume the 540 amp hour 12 volt battery bank in our expedition truck, which delivers 12.8 - 12.9 volts when fully charged would be sufficient. That is not the case - I need to have somewhere between 13.1 and 14,1 volts minimum (closer to 14.1 I suspect) for the rapid charger to work with an Mavic 3 battery. I can work with that as long as I charge during the day with solar input raising the voltage of the battery bank or when the truck's engine is running. This charger will work fine charging a Mavic Mini 2 battery bank with the supply at 12.8 (perhaps lower as well - I've not tried that). It might also charge the Mavic 3 battery via the USB 2 - USB 3 outlet but at 10 watts I'd presume that would considerably slower than the 65 watts possible with USB 3 - USB 3 outlet. I have not tried my car chargers with large portable power banks like those from Goal Zero or Jackery. I suspect the same restraints would apply - rapid USB 3 to USB 3 of a Mavic 3 battery will require solar or other supplemental input. Again - not a problem if you plan for that. I've given the charger 5 stars because it is great and works well as long as one respects the design parameters. 5 |

Best compact photo equipment bag. This is my second J3. I also own the J2 and use that when I need to carry additional equipment. 5 |

I purchased this remote both for being able to take family pics with my Nikon 1 J2, as well as to cue the shutter for night photography. It's worked perfectly and seems to have decent range and has met my needs very well. It's a little more expensive than generic brand remotes, but claimed to have a better range, so I went with this one for the extra couple bucks. It even comes with a carying case. 5 |

My Domke J2 bag is still in great shape after 10 years, but the strap was showing it's age. It had faded from black to gray and was badly fraying from wearing against my shoulder every day. I was searching for a new J2 bag to replace it, but they are hard to find. Then I found this strap--which was really the only part of the bag needing replacement. Saved me over $200 by only replacing the strap instead of the whole bag. 5 |
