Found the What HiFI? review about 6 months ago. Had been using the AKG K67 (on ear, good sound, bad build), Y50 (on ear, good sound, sturdy build), and the K240 Studio (semi-open, great sound). With persistent searching, was able to acquire the three above and the K92 for less than $200 total over a one year period. Since I prefer a flatter response for home listening, the K92 complements my K240 when I want to toggle between closed and semi-open, respectively. A little muddled upon first use, but loosened up (or I just got use to it) after about 12 hours of burn-in; after that, similar in sound but with a slightly narrower sound stage. Sufficient to satisfy my foray in to newer, higher fidelity after using the Sennheiser HD 414SL's since the '80s. Not seeing a need to jump to any $200+ headsets for the time being.
