Samsung Laptop 10 Hours Battery Life

Bought 2nd one last week. Bought one months ago as a gift for my son. I already knew the quality and loved it and is why I bought a second one. However, the specs and other reviews said battery life was approx 6 hrs. NOT TRUE. Unless you are blasting this on full volume (then maybe 6 hrs), it has much longer battery life. I have been streaming 4 hours non-stop (music and talk radio) today at the office with the volume at approx 30% and the battery life reads 70% remaining. This likely means I can probably stream at this level for another good 6-8 hours for a total of 10-12 hrs and mid-low volume. Granted, it may drain faster as battery is used up so 10-12 hrs may be a stretch, but clearly a lot longer than reported 6 hrs. I thought to pay attention this time as the first few days I had it, I just streamed and plugged it back in without thinking about how much juice I had left. I'll try to have it running at about 50-60% volume over the weekend to see how long the battery last but as with most Bose products I've owned in the past, it has exceeded my expectations. The only drawback is that the strap does come loose if I accidentally rub across the tip It is very secure if it's away from any moving parts.

This is a follow up on my original review from 12/3/2022 (I do not see a way to update an existing review). All my findings in the first review are still valid and the laptop has proven itself a reliable workhorse. However I discovered one intermittent issue with the battery life. In most cases the 80% charged battery wold last at least 4-6 hours when watching videos or browsing web on the lowest brightness. Occasionally however it would drop to 2 hours or less (the back of the laptop would also become noticeably warm). I turned on battery saver, made sure to disable any programs and services, except the video player or the browser tab I was using, and the CPU utilization was around 1%. Yet the battery life was unusually short and I could find any reason for that. A reboot (sometimes more than once) would help in most cases but this did not seem right. After some research I found that Windows Fast Startup, enabled by default, may be causing this (no hard evidence though). Anyway, after disabling Fast Startup my battery life on the lowest settings improved to consistent 7-8 hours (again with the initial charge of 80%). If you are unhappy with your battery life search for How to Turn On or Off Fast Startup in the Control Panel. It is simple and I did not notice any adverse effects.

This little projector is perfect for projecting images (4:3 format) onto any surface. Image brightness depends on size of image and area lighting. I use this to project internet video from my HTC Tilt 2 phone, as well as photos taken during the day for family events. Battery life is great (2 hours) before having to plug in the device to USB. Running off the laptop I never have to worry about the battery. Continuous projection of my laptop for the whole day (just for fun). Unit comes with 2 batteries (for quick swap). Battery life is extended to 3 hours when using the low power setting, but the image is much dimmer (I always use the high power setting).

Has good battery life for several hours of listening.

I was recommended these by my brother and I will never go back to life without them. I wear them for about 10 hours a day and am completely comfortable.

Compact and very useful with both PD and QC power. I use this to charge both the Duracell Charge10 10,000mAh PD Power Bank and the Samsung 10,000mAh Power Banks and it does a great job at this, fully charging the Samsung in under 4 hours (around 3.5 hrs) and the Duracell in just over 4 hours.

It is small, but with a big power!! Battery life is about 2.5 hours if you use it for 50% of power!

I bought it to upgrade our Samsung laptop. It fits and I was able to install Windows 10 with no problems.
