We finally had to admit to end of life for our beloved 2011 iMac. This 2020 model promises to be just as good...well better actually! Graphics and performance are top notch. It can handle multiple applications run simultaneously. It's great for gaming, business, and general use. The old model had a built in disc drive but this model works well with the Apple USB SuperDrive attachment which allows us to continue to access and manage our old school materials. 5 |

Upgraded my 512 drive in my 13 MacBook Pro (early 2011 model) which was having issues opening applications, and just overall sluggish performance. Installed the 850 Pro SSD and I now have what feels like a new machine. I should be able to get another 2-3 years out of the Macbook. A worthwhile investment. 5 |

Only B & H has the best price for it and I bought it for my Mac Book Pro 15 2011 model. It is worth buying as replacing mac parts is so expensive and no hassle of loosing data and time in the unfortunate situations. 5 |

I upgraded to this model from a 2011 model with only 16gb of RAM. With this unit I doubled the RAM, and upgraded to the 1TB SSD. It's exactly what I needed to be able to process a large number of photos in Photoshop. This model is considerably quieter than my previous, and not quite as hot. I did have to purchase an adapter to connect it to my Thunderbolt display, but that has worked perfectly as well. I have nothing negative to say, it's perfect! 5 |
