My laptop had a 2TB Samsung EVO 970 plus system drive and I bought this WD black to put in a USB enclosure. But before I did, I ran Crystal Disk Mark on the Samsung, cloned the system to this drive and ran it again on this drive. My laptop is only PCI 3 so I wasn't expecting the stated performance, and no surprise it didn't make those numbers. But it did perform a little better than the Samsung and ran a bit cooler also. So I kept this WD black as the system drive and wiped the Samsung and put that one in the USB enclosure. Now it's a few weeks later and so far so good. 5 |

Having the LCD screen makes the charger a much better tool than the standard blinking light setup on original unit. Ability to charge 2 batteries at once a bonus as well. 5 |

With the latest firmware update, thing are running smoothly so far. Included firmware was quite old. Blinking screen, cycling reconnection, and so on. The firmware seems to have fixed all this. Always stressful to update a device that has connection hickups over this same connection. I purchased that for a egpu and I still didn't test it yet. As long a the main functions of the device work pretty well, it deserves a 5 stars. 5 |

The best laptop I’ve ever owned. First of all, it looks good with its sleek black casing. The screen is suitably large and the resolution and color rendition is outstanding for a device in this price range. I haven’t had a Windows laptop for about 8 years, a not very good Asus laptop which failed from some computer degenerative disease. The LG laptop is orders of magnitude better. Since I haven’t had it very long, I can only hope that I need to replace it because it is obsolete. 5 |
