Connecting by usb or esata the transfer speeds do not disappoint. If there was a way to have the docking station powered over a usb cable without needing the power adapter that would be the only change I would make to this device. I cloned my Samsung 980 Pro OS Boot drive using Macrium Reflect, and found no boot issues with the 990 Pro. It is fast, and is compatible with Samsung Magician. What's not to like?

If your computer is not loaded with USB ports, here's your solution. An On/Off switch for each port.

My laptop had a 2TB Samsung EVO 970 plus system drive and I bought this WD black to put in a USB enclosure. But before I did, I ran Crystal Disk Mark on the Samsung, cloned the system to this drive and ran it again on this drive. My laptop is only PCI 3 so I wasn't expecting the stated performance, and no surprise it didn't make those numbers. But it did perform a little better than the Samsung and ran a bit cooler also. So I kept this WD black as the system drive and wiped the Samsung and put that one in the USB enclosure. Now it's a few weeks later and so far so good.

This headset was easy to pair with my Samsung cell phone, which is why I bought it. Recharging via a USB on my laptop is also easy. Previously, I was frequently asked can you repeat yourself and was told you dropped out. Now, I have crystal clear communication. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy this headset.

I use this drive to backup photos. It has been reliable and fast enough for my needs. It would be nice to have a On/Off switch. As is, I can unplug the USB cable to power down.

Auto On/Off works. USB mic as well as normal and great internal boost. Clean and clear.

Replaced aging IDE Boot drive with Samsung 850 Pro 128GB. Cloned old drive over to new drive, changed boot in bios and was done. Very fast and best warranty in the industry.
