My laptop had a 2TB Samsung EVO 970 plus system drive and I bought this WD black to put in a USB enclosure. But before I did, I ran Crystal Disk Mark on the Samsung, cloned the system to this drive and ran it again on this drive. My laptop is only PCI 3 so I wasn't expecting the stated performance, and no surprise it didn't make those numbers. But it did perform a little better than the Samsung and ran a bit cooler also. So I kept this WD black as the system drive and wiped the Samsung and put that one in the USB enclosure. Now it's a few weeks later and so far so good. 5 |

The best laptop I’ve ever owned. First of all, it looks good with its sleek black casing. The screen is suitably large and the resolution and color rendition is outstanding for a device in this price range. I haven’t had a Windows laptop for about 8 years, a not very good Asus laptop which failed from some computer degenerative disease. The LG laptop is orders of magnitude better. Since I haven’t had it very long, I can only hope that I need to replace it because it is obsolete. 5 |

I used this as the boot drive for desktop. The computer boots much faster and programs load more quickly. I have used Samsung SSD's before and found them to be excellent. 5 |

I purchased this for my elderly-ish mother. It boots up in 8-10 seconds. I configured windows slightly and removed a couple windows apps, but this laptop isnt loaded with tons of bloatware so that was nice. Controls are simple, added a USB mouse and she can comfortably and quickly do everything she needs to online. Great little laptop for the sale price of about 380 at the time of purchase. 5 |
