Samsung Laptop Memory Ram Slot

One ram perfectly working. With two memory kit laptop not start. But this is problem with laptop, not with Ram.

Properly working as a 2667 MHz dual channel memory on iMac (2020). However, when the RAM is intended to use along with an existing original set of 8GB memory (4GB X 2) as two sets of dual channel memory, the clock speed somehow drops to 2133 MHz. It seems there are three options to choose. 1) Use only OWC RAM installed on 1 -3 or 2-4 slot: works as a dual channel memory with 2667MHz. 2) Apple RAM (1-2 slot) & OWC (3-4 slot): works as 2667MHz memory but must give up dual channel. 3) Apple RAM (1-3) & OWC (2-4): works as dual channel but clock speed becomes 2133MHz instead of 2667MHz. Giving up dual channel memory makes Mac slowdown even though it works as 2667MHz memory. I have no idea how the clock speed goes when the same 4 identical OWC RAM are installed in all slots, but I guess this issue is not because of an OWC memory malfunction but a problem with the Intel chip on 2020 iMac itself.

Increased ram from 8 to 20 gigs. My laptop has one slot open with the other 4 gigs soldered in. Adding 16 gig gave me a total of 20 gigs. It speeded up my astrophoto processing considerably. A cheap upgrade to improve performance. Well worth it. I've never had a problem with Crucial memory modules.

I purchased this RAM stick to upgrade my laptop, and after adding it to my slot I boot up my machine and it registered without issue. I will be purchasing again to reach 16gb of RAM in the near future!

So I bought this RAM to upgrade an HP laptop I bought on Black Friday at BB. The laptop was not intended for a ton of storage and came with a 128GB SSD. That was totally fine with me. It wasn't until after I bought it that I noted it only had 4GB RAM. I had thought it had 8. I almost took it back when I found BHP and made this purchase. The funniest part is, I bought this knowing I could up the laptop to 8GB RAM, but I also had been reading a thread about it. Of course, someone had asked the question could it be done. The experts on this laptop said of course it could be done, there was one slot for the card and it would take 8. Towards the end of the thread, there was one guy who said yeah, but this manual says there are 2 slots, would 12GB be possible? The experts again said, no, one slot, 8GB. The final post was the guy commenting that he had opened his, found 2 slots, put an 8 in, in addition to the installed 4 and his system was recognizing and responding to 12. When it arrived, I finally took the laptop out of the box. Within 20 minutes, I opened up the back, found 2 slots, added this 8GB card. After closing up the back, I turned the computer on and fired it up. It immediately indicated 12GB RAM and has been working nicely since. The card is easy to install and is a way better purchase option than buying a new computer.

Excellent laptop for video production or gaming. I added more ram and another drive in available extra slot. 4070 video card is not much different from the 4080 and a much better price.

I opened up my laptop for a ssd updrade and found out Asus was kind enough to leave an empty memory slot in my laptop. This doubled my memory with ease. Great product and fast service from B&H

I purchased this RAM memory module for my Asus laptop. It has provided fast performance and I have had no issues with it since installing it.

Bought the MBP with M3 Pro 12CPU/18GPU, 18GB Memory to replace my aging 2017 intel 15 MBP. I use it for everyday tasks (email, browsing, office) as well as programming in a windows 11 Pro environment on Parallels. Was a bit worried about the memory I would need but 18GB has been perfect. I allowed Parallels to select the default CPU and Memory (4CPUs, 6GB RAM, up to 3GB for graphics) and it runs as faster as on my colleague's Windows laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon 11th gen i7-1185G7 3 GHz, 16GB RAM). The MBP is heavier but built quality is waaaaay superior. The Lenovo feels rather flimsy in comparison. The old laptop has been wiped and now my wife uses it as her everyday machine. It still works great. Hope to get another 7+ years out of this one. And when you break it down - that will be about $300/year for a machine that makes me smile every day.

Been using crucial memory for years and this RAM is no different. Used to upgrade my laptop to 16 GB of RAM. LIfetime warranty, good price and compatibility. Had no issues running along side the kingston RAM in my Dell Inspiron with 8th gen i7.
