It's pleasantly heavy (slim though), it feels nice to touch, it feels nice to type, it actually is able to connect to three devices simultaneously. I cannot think of a single half-serious complaint yet. If it doesn't seem to work, maybe try charging it? It definitely DOES last longer than 2 days on batteries with backlight. If it lasts less, maybe try charging it FULLY first? The Command and Option keys are NOT reversed on the keyboard itself OR in the OS (and mind you, I tried it in Catalina, too). Maybe if you want to enable the function keys permanently, you should look at the big Esc key, which has a lock icon with fn written on it, and maybe you should also try to press that Esc while holding the Fn button? Imagine returning a keyboard over your own misunderstanding. Just too many issues. Those reviewers, Jesus Christ.

I bought the older TBH-300 model in 2016 ($99.99) and used it almost daily for over two years. It had serious flaws and I finally contacted Vanguard and explained the design shortfalls of that model and requested a repair. To my surprise, Vanguard sent me the new Alta BH-300 as a replacement and I am extremely happy with it. The primary problem with the older model was the main knob that secured the mounting plate. If unscrewed too much, the knob, jaw, and internal springs would fall out. Eventually, the threads on the knob became worn and it was unsafe to use. The good news is that Vanguard has redesigned this component and the main knob can no longer become unscrewed all the way, which prevents the problem described above. The Alta BH-300 seems more robust than its predecessor too. Its very solid. The Alta BH-300 also has a safety lock mechanism so even if the main knob is loosened, the mounting plate wont slide off. I wish they had added one additional safety feature that I have on my Benro ball head. In addition to the primary lock, the Benro requires the main knob to be pulled out to release the mounting plate. That extra feature would have made the Vanguard Alta BH-300 perfect, in my opinion. That said, this is an excellent device and Vanguard deserves high marks for the redesign and also for their lifetime product warranties.

About everything you would expect from a gigabyte model. The extra few hz give it just a little more smoothness which i like. I would say 280-300 is a more reasonable price but I can't complain (upgrading from a 1080p 75hz with terrible color). It has a couple stuck pixels in the middle of the screen though, but I'm hoping they'll correct themselves with time.

After many a search for this particular model I stumbled upon these wonderful folks who not only had it in stock, but at a slightly lower price than most others out there. The only downside I would say that comes with this model is the lack of hoslter availability. Most companies make them for the 300 series up to the 300-U but good luck finding one for the V. Otherwise, classic Surefire quality (already had it fly off my rail during initial tests) and great IR function under nods. Thanks again B&H

Bought a JVC LS-300 video camera and needed a battery charger. The model from JVC was more expensive. This model is much less expensive and works great!

At well under $300, you get the brilliant color profiles of Samsung. Spectrum cable service in NYC, even with 1080i or 720p, the video images are pristine and lag-free. A great set for the guest room or kid's room.
