Samsung Laptop Mouse Pad Scroll Not Working

This mouse is a must have for anyone working with a 3D program that requires a middle mouse button. At first glance the mouse looks like any other mouse with a scroll wheel. Look closer. Between the left and right button is a real middle mouse button needed for navigating 3D space in most programs. Using a clickable scroll wheel instead of a real mouse button just doesn't work for me. The activation force required for clicking a scroll wheel is cramp inducing and it's too easy to accidentally scroll (zoom) at the same time. The CadMouse solves this problem with the extra button. I have a 3Dconnexion Space Mouse as well, so I don't know how I missed this gem. It's perfect for 3D on its own or as a Space Mouse companion. Thanks 3Dconnxion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how lightweight this mouse is and how easily it glides across my mouse pad. The buttons are light to click and the scroll wheel has enough substance to it that it allows me to scroll deliberately without over-scrolling past what I am looking for. The cord is just over six feet long so it can easily be attached to your computer from a variety of different angles while leaving enough slack that is does not affect the maneuverability.

As a long-time laptop user, I initially purchased Apple's Magic Trackpad 2 for my new computer. It didn't live up to my expectations, so I ended up getting a mouse instead—deciding on this vertical one. It took a day or two for me to adjust to its design, but it really is comfortable. I was able to map the additional buttons using the Logi app, so when I hold down one of the side buttons, I can swipe between full-screen apps, and the other button allows me to scroll up and down fluidly. Pros: super comfortable design, mappable buttons, price Cons: device switcher is on the bottom of the mouse, scroll wheel is not fluid

I recently bought this mouse to go with my new Surface Laptop 4. It did not take much to adjust from the old school mouse design, and in many ways improves over those old designs. It simply feels more ergonomic, with the arched design. It still accomplishes what a mouse should. I have always disliked scroll wheels, and yet, require the ability to scroll both vertically and horizontally, which is incorporated in scroll-wheel less fashion. It glides seamlessly on my desk (other surfaces, too!) when moving the mouse around. It really feels no different than other mice, and is very precise. I have no issues. The only flaw I have found so far is turning it on and off. This is not the mouse's fault, though, as I often forget to collapse the mouse. It's unusual to power it this way, so often I leave it in its arched position. I was wondering if this would affect battery life, but mine has yet to drain them. All in all, it's a very good product, that I would recommend to others.

I used this mouse pad to replace an aluminum I was carrying around in my laptop bag. It's much lighter, of course, and the precise it is as described.

I really like this wireless mouse. I find it much easier to use than the standard laptop mouse pad. The price can not be beat.

As the headline says. I like the scroll wheel too. I use it at a workstation w/o room for a mouse.

In a touch screen digital world, switching from Logitech MX Master mouse to Kensington Expert felt like going Back to the Future. I gave myself 7 days to work only on Kensington Expert Mouse. The tactile feedback of a large ball turned out to be extremely satisfying experience. The feature I've used the most on MX Mater, and I thought I would not have on Expert Mouse was a thumb-wheel function, which was setup to switch between the 3 virtual desktop screens I have on my Mac. Quickly I've discovered that the top buttons on the Expert Mouse are perfect replacement for my MX master thumb-wheel. I've also programmed top buttons to run Expose when pressed simultaneously - the feature I used on MX Mater with a thumb button. Now the biggest issue was a middle mouse click.. but it turned out to be as simple as programming two bottom buttons acting as the one, when pressed both at the same time. The big bonus is that if one needs to use buttons to perform different actions, one can do so. Kensington software allows per application button customization. I would consider all mentioned above as pros for this product.. now few if any cons - the scroll ring needs a redesign. At first I thought that I may have a faulty item, but watching couple of videos on the internet, I've found out that that gritty feeling is due to the ring design implementation. It's true.. the grittiness fades with use, but it's still far cry from a silk-smooth operation of MX Master scroll wheels. Minor cons is a somewhat high profile of the Expert Mouse. I have a large hand, so this is no issue for me at all. I'm looking forward to get the Kensington SlimBlade, which in my mind would eliminate high profile and gritty scroll ring. Overall.. if your desk keyboard/mouse space is limited, or you want to discover what you were missing all these years, using regular mouse - trackballs are way to go. Especially if you have a full size keyboard. Excellent product - highly recommended.
