I have been using Samsung SSD drives for several years and I am happy to say I have yet to have a problem. As of today I have 7 drives in service . They range from the 256 Gb 850 Pro to the latest ones , the 1 Tb 860 Pro. Fantastic addition to our music studio. 5 |

Just got mine today. Barely fits my Samsung phone with case on, but does fit. I usually don't use phone to take a picture, so it's o.k. I tested with Lumix G9 with heavy lens (like Sirui 50mm anamorphic lens). This little guy handles the weight very well. Super steady - way better than my MeFoto travel tripod ball head. It hold steadly at 45-89 degrees tilt even with the ball head extended to phone holding mode (not all the way out, for it's spring prevents going all the way out without phone attached). Amazing value and samll enough to take everywhere (barely noticible in my jaen pocket.) Love it!!! 5 |

Most SSDs on market today are either TLC or a combination of TLC+MLC. Samsung Pro is full-MLC which should mean longer life and better reliability. I had 840 Pro for 4+ years running as system disk for my Windows machine without any issue (staying up 24/7), and this should be a good replacement for it (my 840 is still alive, I just re-purposed it for less critical use). 5 |

Bought it today, slapped a Samsung 840 pro SSD inside, hooked it up via USB 3 and instantly got a reading of 455 Reads and 421 Write speed. Then I transfered 10 GB of DPX files and took under 8 seconds! The USAP in this enclosure is the major advantage. Its self powered to boot. Perfect for very fast portable storage. 5 |

HDD's are the slowest peripherals in the PC today, plus use a lot of power, which is the bane of laptops. I'm on my fourth Samsung SSD now and will be going for number five. The task is getting the OS cloned to the new SSD. Samsung's. Their software works OK but has some limitations, it only works one way, you can't clone back to the HD. Also it will only clone the boot drive in the PC you are cloning with. My laptop only holds one HDD so I wound up buying one of those stand-alone cloning devices. That worked but it took hours! 5 |
