Samsung Laptop R580 Ssd Clone

This works great. I used it to clone the ssd in my laptop to a Samsung 970 and it worked perfectly. I used the Samsung migration and no problems. I am using an ACER aspire 515-43-r19l and it worked great. Don't know how it works with apple products.

I used this cable to clone my Windows7 system for Samsung 85o Pro SSD 1T.

Quality made case, did a clone of my Windows 11 Pro, it was installed on a Samsung 4TB 990 Pro with H/S, cloned to another Samsung 4TB 990 Pro with H/S, using the Offline Cloning Function, it took 58 minutes. Because of the SSD's H/S, I was not able to close with the cover, left it open, and proceeded with the clone. Took the cloned SSD, installed into my pc, not a single hitch. For future installs or any new apps or major items, do a clone, forget the image files.

Bought this enclosure to clone a new Samsung SSD. Samsung's software would not recognize their SSD in the Sabrent Enclosure. Bought AOMEI and cloned the SSD in this enclosure with no issues and pretty good transfer speed.

This SSD was purchased to be a backup clone of an identical drive already in my computer. Utilizing Samsung's proprietary software, the process was completed flawlessly and I can sleep better knowing I have a backup of everything on drive C in my computer.

Used it to clone my dad's 500GB MacBook Pro hard drive to a 500GB Samsung SSD. Removed the old hard drive, placed both in the dock and presto! Worked perfectly. HDD's are the slowest peripherals in the PC today, plus use a lot of power, which is the bane of laptops. I'm on my fourth Samsung SSD now and will be going for number five. The task is getting the OS cloned to the new SSD. Samsung's. Their software works OK but has some limitations, it only works one way, you can't clone back to the HD. Also it will only clone the boot drive in the PC you are cloning with. My laptop only holds one HDD so I wound up buying one of those stand-alone cloning devices. That worked but it took hours!

If you need to clone software from a current SSD to a new SSD on a laptop, I consider this product essential. I was so easy to use, it works, with no fuss. Very good price, and glad B&H recommended this when buying an SSD for upgrade purposes.
