Samsung Laptop Sw Update Failed

I always trust Samsung products and they have never failed me.

Does as advertised, and it hasn't failed on me yet (2 weeks). I'll update the review if/when it does!

Over the years Samsung memory devices have never failed me, other manufacturers’ memory devices have.failed.

After two lesser devices failed to extend WiFi to my garage, this one did the trick. Connection to my WiFi signal (CenturyLink Zyxtel c1100z) was problematic at first. The app would hang while searching for a signal. Resetting the device and moving it closer to the router didn't help. An email to amplifi support was quickly answered by Martin and after discussing the setup issues and providing some initial troubleshooting, he suggested a firmware update. After the update everything worked flawlessly. There's excellent coverage in the garage now where before there was none.

I’ve had this about two weeks now and am very well pleased. It was very easy to connect to my Samsung HDTV. One thing I suggest that you do up front is to update the software because it fixes known bugs. You can go to the VIZIO website to get that update. It would have been helpful it that had been mentioned in the manual but it wasn’t.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's really hard to go wrong with Samsung when it comes to SSD's or any form of digital storage. I have been using them since I got my first Samsung 2.5" SATA SSD 9 years ago (which is still going strong!). Per usual, Samsung is at the top of performance specs and the 990 Pro is no different with sequential read/write speeds up to 7450/6900 MB/s, which I was able to achieve using Crystal Disk benchmark software. Before doing anything though, you should install the Samsung Magician software for hard drive management and update the firmware to be current that fixes some issues that were reported on. Once updated, you can also use the software to manage other drive features like encryption, performance optimization, or run health checks. I have this in my PC now as I wanted to update the drive and run some benchmarks, but I plan to move it into my video game console and pick up a second 2TB 990 pro for the PC. Once again, I am a very happy Samsung hard drive customer and couldn’t imagine going with another brand. They have great performance, longevity, and a proven track record. They have earned and continue to have my trust in keeping my data safe and devices running at lightning speed.

Works like it should with my Mac Pro 2013 "trashcan". I had a Samsung 980 Pro but after their latest firmware update that drive started misbehaving. Apparently Samsung's controllers don't play nicely with macs. WD was recommended by the mac community and it has been a good decision.

However, the update was going to require a major remodel of our existing shelving unit which held our 42". After meeting with an expert trim carpenter, we decided that we could expand the shelving to accommodate a 65" TV. We have been loyal Samsung customers for many years but were really not familiar with the new technology. After much research, we chose a 65" OLED based on picture quality, a non-glare screen and Samsung reliability and quality. We couldn't be happier with the OLED. We can now read small text on the screen without pausing the picture and walking up closer to the TV. Thank you Samsung for a great product.

The sales rep advised this one instead of the slightly less expensive Samsung. I was replacing a little used Samsung of about 4 years old that failed to load. It was a little hard to set up in my cabinet location but the english speaking assistance person at Sony guided me through the process. I would suggest calling them early in the frustrating process. Why torment yourself? Based on a few weeks of successful usage, I would recommend it as a low cost Blu-ray player. B and H advice and service top notch as always.
