I just bought a new camera. I had bought a Fujifilm GFX 100 last year and bought a Pelican iM2720 for it. This Pelican 1607 will be ideal for the newest camera. Lots of protection and much lighter than the iM2720 {although they are very close to the same size.} Plus I love the customizable foam interior!! The sale price B&H had at the time I purchased it made this a no-brainer!!

Not only does it look great, but it's really well built and strong. A good variation to the standard and normal looking silver version.

Earlier I had tried the X100V and ended up returning it. I regretted that ever since, so bought the black version (my X-T3 is silver) and bought the 28MM lens adapter which gives me the two best general purpose lenses. The X100V has many advancements but the one that resonates with me the most is the tilt LCD. Perfect for street photography. Images (both with the native 23/35mm and the WCL attachment) are razor sharp and the colors are amazing.

The Deep Silver Umbrella L was exactly what I was looking for. I tried the white version of the same size but it lacked punch and was too similar to a large softball which I already have. The silver gives more contrast.

Leica aluminum filters bind less than any brand I have tried. Aluminum is known for this issue, two aluminum filters are sure to bind, Leica does also but they are rather easy to unbind unlike most other brands that bind and are troublesome for field use. So, my next comment is for the silver version of this filter, purchase this filter if flare is not an issue with your lens. The black version will not cause flare from the rim but the silver could reflect light into the lens. The silver version is cool with a silver lens and I have not found it to flare with a lenses such as the 50mm Summilux-M Asph. The UVa II filter transmits 99.9% of the light, a very high (the highest) reading of many upscale filters tested.

the reviews I’ve seen online had the microphone mount but package I received had no mount. Is it because of the silver version or generally B&H doesn’t include it in the packaging?
