Samsung Laptop Very Slow

I have a home studio and my laptop was getting low on memory and slow when it came to loading and running things chilled etc...

Got this for backups. But then the Samsung T7 I got was so slow I decided to use that for backups instead. This spinning disk drive is actually faster than the Samsung SSD! It's the most utterly stupid thing Samsung ever did with the T7. The T5 was a solid performer, the T7 a dud that can be lapped by a normal old hard drive! Anyway, this works exceptionally well for a bus powered spinning disk. I keep all my projects saved here when travelling, then I make copies to a disk array when back at home base. My only gripe is that I wish it was USB C.

Our Engineers need to work efficiently without the strains of a slow hard drive. The Samsung Pro SSD's have been our go to drive for a number of years now. In benchmark testing and reviews, they still come out on the top of the scale. I have never had one fail and I deploy a lot of them. I have no reason to try another model. Did I mention that the cost is very reasonable as well.

My Samsung TV was very slow to load catalogs and wouldn't always load an app. It was very frustrating, but the Roku Streaming Stick + solved that problem.

I tested my memory card on my laptop first with a memory card program and found that the download speed is slow. However, I have a strong feeling the slow speed was the fault of my old device, not the card. The memory card has the space as advertised (not a fake). The card works great once I put it into my Motorola Stylus 2021 phone. Happy with my purchase!

My 2011 MBP was really slow to start up with the old hard drive and I would never turn it off because it would take minutes to start up and even once I was logged in I had to wait to open any programs. It would be extremely slow to load pages online for several minutes as well. Now it starts right up and I can open programs immediately upon logging in and get full responsiveness. It is so much better and I saved thousands by not upgrading my laptop. It was a great value and I was able to double my original storage space for under $100, which was great because my drive was starting to fill up. If you are thinking about upgrading to an SSD to extend the life of your older MacBook I would highly recommend it and you can save yourself a lot of money by avoiding buying a new laptop. I have had the drive in for almost a year now and the computer has been running great ever since I replaced it.

Our Dell Inspiron 17 5767 laptop had a one T HD and booted/ran slow. I cloned the old drive onto the 860 EVO, opened the laptop and swapped the HD for the SSD. Now it runs faster. I only had one little screw left over after closing the case, success.

My old laptop had gotten very slow, taking forever to boot into Ubuntu 19.04. I figured it would get worse with 20.04, so I sprung for a replacement to the original 160GB spinning drive. This did the trick - the old Lenovo now seems almost zippy.
