Samsung Laptop Vram

Works great for video editing with all that 12 GB VRAM 5 |

great card, plenty of VRAM, upgraded from a 1050 Ti. Would recommend for everyone. 5 |

I always choose samsung ssd's for upgrades for the speed, quality & price even on lower end laptop upgrades. 5 |

I upgraded from a 1050 Ti with 4gb VRAM to this card and have seen a big improvement in performance in Adobe Lightroom for things like Select Sky and Select Subject. I also see a good performance increase for Photoshop Generative Expand and Fill. The install was very easy but I had to dig up a power cable for this card from my power supply box since my old card didn't require separate power. 5 |

Felt like my old GPU was holding me back with video editing and the jump from 6gb VRAM to 12gb VRAM definitely helps along with the other increases in performance with this generation of graphics cards. Pretty speedy export times as well (at least with the 1080p gaming videos I edit for creators, can't speak as much to 4k performance). When I'm not editing videos it plays every game I need it to with FPS to spare. Haven't had any issues since I installed this new GPU about a month ago. 5 |

This is a massive card. My Meshify 2 XL has plenty of space for it, but the weight gave me enough anxiety to use the support bar. Neither the card nor the zbar are the prettiest, but this thing has great performance. Junction temp is low 70s in WZ 2.0 at 1440p, mostly maxed out in settings (no RT although I don't even think it's available yet). If you were worried that a gigantic heatsink would still result in mediocre thermals because blah blah AMD efficiency, don't, this thing cools well and the added mass & design are clearly effective. XFX really went for performance and thermals here and it shows, I'm impressed. I've tested with WZ 2.0 in Windows and TW:WH3 and Valheim in Linux. All smooth as butter at 1440p. Linux support is fantastic, although distro options are (currently) limited if you want out of the box support with latest mesa and kernel. Haven't tried SteamVR yet; bracing for disappointment there, but I'm okay waiting a while for drivers to catch up. VRAM usage in WZ 2.0 maxes out around 76% so if I did my math right, the added VRAM on the 7900 XTX *is* actually useful. Lots of influencers/reviewers/redditors all seem to ignore the 24GB of VRAM on this card when comparing to the 4080, like it doesn't matter and/or won't ever be used. If you're looking for a new card at this price point and comparing against a 4080 (you should be), it comes down to game-by-game preferences and your use cases. For example Nvidia is still king of VR. This card has a ton of VRAM and is great at raster for a little less $. I'm happy with it. Clearly the reference model is a different story but XFX has outdone themselves with this card. 5 |

This is the best value Nvidia card if you value 16GB VRAM since the 4080 Super does not include more. It comes with a GPU stand to prop it up, which is a very nice if you don't already have one since the GPU is rather heavy. The only problem I've had with the card is when I first got it had very noticeable coil whine, but after using it for a month the coil whine seems to be much less than it was before. I do not even notice it anymore. It's played every game I've thrown at it perfectly at 1440p, so far. 5 |

There is not enough VRAM to play games, most games run worse than my 3060 due to lack of VRAM, disappointed in NVIDIA 5 |
