Samsung Laptops Boot Menu Key

I cloned my Samsung 980 Pro OS Boot drive using Macrium Reflect, and found no boot issues with the 990 Pro. It is fast, and is compatible with Samsung Magician. What's not to like? 5 |

This is my 3rd SSD. I think all laptops should ditch the spinning rust :) and boot from this. This 1TB replaced my DVD drive, so, my laptop is running on two SSD. The first SSD which boot the OS is showing it's age and slowing down. I might swap this 1TB to be the booting driver later. Windows 8.1 recognize it easily and I just had to format it, 64kb size for me. File (large) transfer at about 180 MB/sec, between 2 ssd. USB3 using Win8 driver to this 1TB can do 70MB/sec. If price was much lower, I would have gotten it sooner. Also, by now, I like to have a 2 or 3 TB. :) 5 |

I've been using the ERGO K860 (non-business model) for a couple years and love it - in fact, I decided to take it in to work to use there, and bought the Business model to replace it at home. I chose the Business model because it uses the newer Bolt receiver, which can be shared with my mouse (MX Master 3S). I didn't pay close attention to product images and assumed the keyboards were identical, but while they are physically identical there are some changes to the function keys, which I think are a big improvement - the Business model shifts some keys around and moves the "right click (menu)" key and function lock key, which I never use, to be secondary which give room for an emoji and mic mute key, which I use all the time. I only have two complaints. Fist is that, once muting the mic with the keyboard, unmuting without the keyboard is very cumbersome - if you are using this keyboard with a laptop that isn't permanently docked and use the mic mute key it's going to be annoying when you're not sitting at your desk with the keyboard. You basically have to go into system settings and increase input volume or use a 3rd party app to add a toggle to the menu bar. The Logitech Options+ app already placed an icon in the menu bar when the keyboard mutes the mic, so it would be great if you could click that to unmute. My second complaint is that there's no option to enable syncing EasySwitch between the keyboard and mouse. Logitech has suggested Flow for this functionality but I can't (and don't want to) sign in to the cloud software on my work computer. I'm currently using a USB switcher with Bolt receiver to allow for single-button switching between computers but if they added an EasySwitch sync option in the software I could pair keyboard and mouse with Bluetooth and remove the need for the Bolt receiver and USB switcher. 5 |

What I like the most is its light weight and its two key features, Focus Peaking and Falso Color. The Menu is very intuitive and easy to use. The display is bright enough for sunny days outside, no concerns about that, beside it comes with a sun hood. Highly recommend! 5 |

One person here said they turned on their TV but there was no Roku. My dad's TV did that and we just pressed the home key and the menu came up. 5 |

Replaced aging IDE Boot drive with Samsung 850 Pro 128GB. Cloned old drive over to new drive, changed boot in bios and was done. Very fast and best warranty in the industry. 5 |

I work in the semiconductor industry, therefore I was aware of 3D NAND. When I saw that Samsung had V-NAND SSDs available, I decided to try the 850 PRO 512GB SSD. I installed it in a 6 year old computer. I did a clean Win 7 install. After the first boot up, I was stunned. This computer used to take 4 - 5 minutes to fully cold boot. Now it only takes 45 - 55 seconds. from a cold boot. Apps now open virtually immediately. This V-NAND SSD has breathed new life into a 6 year old computer. It is faster than my 1 1/2 year old Win 7 computer with a faster processor. Both computers have Core i7 processors . Both have Win 7. I had a computer with an SSD several years ago. It was fast, but nothing like what I am experiencing with the 32 level V-NAND SSD from Samsung. 5 |

I've been a big fan of Samsung's T7, but this guy has almost twice the write speed. I boot my OS from it and haven't had any problems. 5 |

I purchased this drive to upgrade my original 120 GB boot drive. Prior to purchase I examined specifications and reviews of many SSDs before deciding on the Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB drive. The Samsung 850 Pro had the best specs, warranty and reviews at the time among comparable SSDs. Cloning my Samsung 850 Pro with the old SSD was very straight forward and installing the new boot drive went without a hitch. The only issue developed when I used Samsung Magician to optimize my OS. I failed to realize that the optimization software disables windows backup service. I went to perform my weekly backup and was surprised by the lack of Windows backup function in Control Panel. A quick search revealed that by re-enabling and restarting the backup service my Windows backup was restored and working properly. At this time I have had no other problems with my Samsung 850 Pro drive and software. I hope it will continue to function correctly for many years. 5 |

I used this as the boot drive for desktop. The computer boots much faster and programs load more quickly. I have used Samsung SSD's before and found them to be excellent. 5 |
