Samsung Lightning Cable Protector

Needless to say, lightning does take out cable modems even on a surge protector. Mine would not work after being fried so I bought the same brand only to have the model not in working order when it arrived. I saw that I already had a NETGEAR router so decided to make it a pair with the cable modem. Have had no problems since installation. Only wish that the owners manual would be included in the box.

The Samsung Magician app made it an easy add and the prior Samsung 870 EVO ssd left in it's rear window--what a difference maker!!! Next plan is to buy another for RAID and gift another for my son.

I have only had this surge protector but about 1 month and so far it has been a good one have not had no lightning storms are bad power surges yet to see if it will do its job.

a recent lightning strike took out our only sony (as well as our stereo and sound system). our two samsungs came through it without a scratch! we replaced the sony with a third samsung. it makes me recall the old timex ad “takes a lickin’ and keeps on ticking “. our dvr/u-verse box got toasted, and our 45” samsung connected to it was just fine! maybe they should consider renaming the brand samson!

Can't go wrong with the Samsung NVMe SSDs. I own several and have never had a problem. They are lightning fast and in my experience, very high quality.
