Samsung M40 Headphone

I never write reviews. But I liked the service from B&H so much, that I want to help them promote these. If you're a little bit into headphones and audio or currently researching, you'll most likely come across one name: Audio Technica M50-X. They are widely known as an affordable (around 150$), professional headphone for studio monitoring and DJ-ing. Their fanbase is massive. But if you keep digging, you find a few people who say hold on. M40's are the way to go. I listened to this minority and joined them. I listened to both M50's and M40's (also M30's but I think they don't matter in this comparison). I was looking for a closed back, over ear headphone with a flat sound signature, because I already got bass cans (Sony MDR 1-A) and I wanted to use them as a DJ headphone. Over all, I think the sound signature of the M50's is far to bassy. It's fun to listen to, but such a headphone can't call himself a studio/monitoring headphone. The M40's on the other hand, are far more neutral. No emphasis on bass or highs, they tell you how it is (as far as 90$ cans can do that). Yes, the M50's have a bigger driver, but bigger isn't always better. I like the sound of the M40's even more than the Sony MDR-7506 or the Sennheiser HD25 (both have a legendary status in their field). Beside the sound, the M40's earcups swiffle, so you can DJ with one ear open to the PA. Clamping force is alright, pads are maybe a little bit stiff. With it come 2 cables, one coiled. Also a 6,3mm adapter and a nice bag. Love my set and will use them as my DJ equipment.

4th headphone , from samsung, beats to sony best sound quality & long lasting battery. Not much , haven't found any other phone in this price range with good sound.

this cable is a much better length than the 2 that came with my ath-m40. sound quality is notable better than generic cable

This M40 has the same HD CMOS Pro sensor in the $ HF G10 camcorder. That's why the video images are so excellent. It rocks. I particularly like the low light performance. So far it matches the performances of Panasonic TM900 - one of the top consumer camcorders but with a higher price tag. No wonder the camcorder is out of stock during holidays and sells close to or above the retail price.

I am using the Rode mic on my Vixia HF M40 Canon camcorder and I am very impressed with the sound quality. This is a given, but it is leaps and bounds better than the the internal built-in mic. I was impressed by the overwhelmingly positive reviews of the mic and was not disappointed. For anamateursuch as myself, this mic is a great deal. Buy it.

I purchased 2 UTX-M40 TRANSMITTERS, 1 URX-P03D receiver and an extra ECM-V1BMP for my Sony RX10M3/RX100M7 cameras. The setup works great for 4K videos using the 3.5mm output. The microphones focus on the subjects with very little background. I am very happy with this setup as the RX100M7 is very portable when using a belt pouch for the receiver.

This stand has enough stability to run Vortexes, 2400s, 2600s, M40, etc while not costing and arm and a leg. The build quality is so far excellent and is an easy load as opposed to a beefier Crankovator or similar wheeled stand.

As an assistant editor for reality television, I can claim that the Canon M40 is identical to the professional camcorders used on the field. The features are versatile, ranging from microphone inputs, manual exposure, aperture, gain, grid, and many more. You can even add 2 64gb SD card slots. If you have the M40 with 16gb built in, you could have an approximate 144gb of memory! That's insane. The depth of field is very nice. You can get close to the look of DSLR video if you zoom in on your object from a few feet away. There's many clips on Youtube and Vimeo taht will show you. The stabilization is the best I've ever used. If held correctly, you can walk smoothly and added image stabilization to your footage. You may not need a Steadycam anymore. I can't believe I just said that. The camera is outstanding and pars with professional camcorders. What else do you need to know?

I own the Audio-Technica M50, M40, and M30. The M50 is, and should be, the best set of headphones of the bunch. If you're considering between the 3 of them, I would recommend investing a little more and going with the M50.

They do exactly what they need to! I bought this for my 2 batteries for my Canon VIXIA HF M40 and it is excellent being able to charge them on a great third party charger
