Samsung Microwave E11

I like how it can be regenerated using a microwave oven.

I've used battery grips on my previous equipment & the BG-E11 has been a nice addition to my 5DS R. Having extra juice while away from electricity for an extended period of time is a necessity for those going out to get the rare wildlife shots. Not only does the BG-E11 provide the power, but it adds comfort to shooting and more to hang on to with additional button control options.

I purchased this battery grip for my Canon 5D Mark IV. I have also purchased a grip for the 5D Mark III (BG-E11) in the past and was happy with the quality of construction and how well it fit the camera body. I have read some reviews prior and some thought the quality was not as good as compared to the BG-E11 and in my opinion, the quality is just as good. I have normal size hands and felt that the grip was comfortable to hold for extended period of time. However, it is the weight of the camera body and grip that will tire you out for weddings or long events. I feel that the grip is a must for longer events because the battery life in the 5D Mark IV is considerably shorter than the Mark III. It must have to do with the touch screen, Wi-Fi, GPS, and other improvements to the camera. And if you if you use the live view for accurate focusing as well. Overall, a great purchase. It is a bit pricier than the BG-E11 since it is newer, but I feel as if the price will come down and be a better value. I had no choice as I needed to get it for my business. Other than that, the only other possible con would be that there is no battery tray for this model. I have never used the one for the BG-E11, but it is nice piece of mind if you do run out of lithium battery power and need to switch to AA batteries.

I have the Canon BG-E11 grip also for a second body. Once in my hand I can't tell the difference between the two grips. Oh ya.... C note vs 3 c notes.

I use a large mixing bowl, filled with filtered water. I use the microwave to warm the water, 2-3 minutes, and mix about half the powder. Repeat for the remaining powder. Let it cool over night.

Fantastic product. Have even run the microwave on it with no issues. Charges as fast as they say it can. Plenty of outlets to plug stuff into. I have not triggered the breakers so this is a very legit battery backup system! I hope they make a large system to run the whole house one day.

I use these at tower sites to receive and re-transmit my point to point microwave network. They supply power to the tower top radios and provide all switching functions plus allow me to remotely view the actual bandwidth across each port in real time. Plus they bring local bandwidth into the towers local router. Another inexpensive but vital part in my network.

I like that they are eco friendly and can be refreshed in the microwave. I had another brand that requires oven use, which is impractical living in an RV. This is the best solution. Bag is sturdy, is flexible to fit into spaces of bags, boxes.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Nice feel on keys, use it to avoid the constant microwave radiation from the laptop’s keyboard which was making my hands ache. Just wish it did not have the numbers pad on right to have the mouse closer for ergonomic setup purposes.
