Samsung Microwave Fuse Panel

I really like the light. It has punch when needed and can dim down nicely. I am using the d-fuse light panel to soften it up. I don't know how much better the snap diffusion lite panels sells, but the d-fuse is a whole lot less!

I like how it can be regenerated using a microwave oven.

Got this television to replace a very old flat panel. The picture on the CU8000 is great and it's light enough to move around without an issue. The one thing that really needs either changing or better explanation is Samsung's user interface. It is awful. Moving from HDMI 1 (in this case, cable) to HDMI 2 (AppleTV) and HDMI 4 (a rarely used DVD player) takes WAY too many steps. Why there is no input button on the remote is beyond me. Samsung all but forces you to use their connections for any streaming service. Beyond the UI, great TV at a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Viewfinity S7: A Professional's Dream The Samsung Viewfinity S7 is a sleek, modern monitor designed to elevate productivity and visual experiences. With its stunning 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 support, and an IPS panel, this monitor delivers exceptional image quality that's perfect for professionals in fields like graphic design, video editing, and photography. One of the most impressive features of the Viewfinity S7 is its color accuracy. The IPS panel ensures wide viewing angles without compromising color fidelity, making it ideal for collaborative work or presentations. The HDR10 compatibility further enhances the visual experience, delivering deeper blacks, brighter whites, and more vibrant colors. In terms of design, the Viewfinity S7 is a minimalist masterpiece. Its thin bezels and sleek lines create a modern aesthetic that complements any workspace. The adjustable stand allows for optimal viewing angles and ergonomic comfort, reducing eye strain during long hours of work. Connectivity options are plentiful, with HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C ports ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. The USB-C port even supports power delivery, allowing you to charge your laptop while connected to the monitor. While the Viewfinity S7 is undoubtedly a high-quality monitor, there are a few minor drawbacks. The refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, which might not be ideal for gamers or those who require the fastest possible response times.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was thinking of getting myself an Ultra wide gaming monitor but always thought the 49" G9 was too big that's when Samsung released this with the same panel as in the Alienware OLED monitor that is getting rave reviews. The difference between this and the Alienware monitor is that this one comes with Samsung OS and is easy to connect to my other Samsung ecosystem products. This monitor is perfect to run Dex on or even can be used as a TV. The OLED panel is brilliant and the movies and games pop on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the new Samsung 55” S85D OLED and I have to say I’m quite impressed with it. I’ve had other OLEDs from different manufacturers for years and this is a highly competitive product. Out of the box, the packing alone is a nice touch, with the panels having a perforation for ease of removal. There’s a subtle curvature on the back of the TV itself (what they call Contour Design), as opposed to other OLED sets with a very thin panel alone…I always get nervous handling most OLED sets but this gives a lot more confidence. Setup was a breeze, with great integration to my AppleTV box. Picture quality is phenomenal; vibrant colors, deep blacks (as expected with an OLED) and no ghosting….the panel completes with other ‘higher end’ sets and punches above its price range. Sound quality is similarly great, with some neat bells and whistles including built in Atmos and a proprietary Object Tracking Sound Lite feature that makes the action sound wonderful. All in all, highly recommended. It’s my first Samsung TV and won’t be the last.

The two USB chargers are very handy. Having the spare fuse included is handy

When I got this machine it would not heat up, it would not produce any fog. I checked the fuse, tried again...nothing, so I got on the internet and it turns out this is not an unusual issue. I took the cover off the machine and hit the little white reset button that looks like a teeny nipple. That was it, I don't know if it got beat around in shipping but it is fixed and this thing can really put out some fog. Just what I wanted it just needed a little help.

I waited ... well, too long ...for the Audio Fuse to arrive and in the end I'm glad I did! This interface is just so easy to use it makes recording fun again. Every control is right there under your fingertips making a software based control panel unnecessary. What a relief! ( there is one available which you'd need to use if you took advantage of the unit's digital inputs and even it has a button to summon and dismiss it ). AudioFuse has all the physical IO most desktop users could ever need, Mics, direct guitars, turntable, line, ADAT, SPDIF, MIDI and note the two independent headphone outs! There's decent input and output metering, no drivers needed, good latency ( I got 8ms with 128samples buffering ) and very transparent Mic Preamps. Certainly up to spec for my needs. The DAC's are great, putting my former interface to shame ( and it came from a major provider of Mac audio hardware). I had no issue interfacing with iOS on a 9.7 iPadPro and it recorded into Cubasis beautifully. It's built well, looks great.... I can't find anything not to like. ( oh .. I got a bit of button backlight flickering but an email to Arturia was answered with 12 hours saying it's related to firmware and will be addressed... nice).
