I have 5 OlD... like 19 years old Elinchroms, and 2 went down in the last month. I attempted to replace the fuses, modeled lights, and flash tubes. Contemplated sending them off to repair. After this exhausting decision I just decided maybe I need to just start replacing these... and WOW!! Power house, quiet polished light. Highly recommend. 5 |

For the money, you cannot beat these packs. They have many great features, like circuit breakers instead of fuses, 10 amp per channel capacity, DMX and Microplex inputs, and they are relatively quiet for a cheap pack. The only downside to these packs is that they are not UL listed, but for my portable application, that isn't a problem. The packs are built really well with high gauge metal plate, especially for the price. So far no problems with them! They dim lights just as they are designed to. 5 |
