I like how it can be regenerated using a microwave oven.

I like that they are eco friendly and can be refreshed in the microwave. I had another brand that requires oven use, which is impractical living in an RV. This is the best solution. Bag is sturdy, is flexible to fit into spaces of bags, boxes.

I have been a user of the traditional Re-fresh In The Oven Desiccants containers for years. Normally I refresh them and move them from Oven to Comercial Zip-lock Bags until use. I have put this to the test. I can have a totally Wet unit (Silica Full Of Moisture). Plug it into 110v and in 5 hours or so it's ready for work. In a Pelican Type hard case it will stay active for months. I have gotten a full week out of one in the field (In with Lenses and other normally closed accessories). Nothing is going to work in a Swamp Environment Exposed, this is to protect your gear in storage or transport...

After my earlier review, I learned more about this excellent camera's 400-page online manual. Some reviewers have justifiably complained about how hard it is to search visually. But since it's a PDF, you can open it on your PC using the free Adobe Reader program, which has its own search field. This allows you to quickly scan the document for specific terms (as long as they match the terms used in the manual). But what about using it on-the-road? I just searched for and found the online manual through my iPhone. And when I opened it and touched one of its displayed pages, I was offered the option to load it as an iBook into the phone's library. This now enables me to search the entire PDF for anything I want, and to click on live (blue) links between its pages. That's WONDERFUL for using it on the road!

Transmitter is easy to use and fairly intuitive. But the manual needs work. I ended up downloading the manual and magnified the pdf onscreen. Tiny text. Although the manual identifies each button, it doesn't make clear why you would/wouldn't want to choose them.
