Samsung Microwave With Turn Knob

I purchased this because the place I'm currently living in has terrible electrical. If I turn on the microwave while the AC in running, EVERYTHING in the apartment shuts off!! So I have this UPS next to my computer desk so that in the event the electrical does shut off again, Ill be able to safely shut down my computer so I can go all the way down to the basement to turn the power back on. I plan to get another one for my TV and consoles. 5 |

I like how it can be regenerated using a microwave oven. 5 |

Trust my heavy gear in it - period. Nuff said. Knob is easy to turn/use. 5 |

Keep It Simple, Stupid! Yes, I remember my first ball head... one knob loosened and tightened all the movement. You loosen then you tighten. This does that incredibly well. Ok there is a pan knob, but you really don’t need to use that to unless you’re doing pano stuff or something weird like that. Tension knob? I’ve had 3 ball heads with that feature, but I can’t say that it is essential. Just keep it simple. Just with a 1/4 of a turn, you’re loosening and locking it, tight! I use medium format film cameras like Pentax 67 and digital medium formats (not girly mirrorless :). I use the rig on my shoulder to carry most of the time, which asks a lot to stabilize the heavy camera on horizontal plane while walking. This thing does not slip. On top of that it’s tiny and light. Perfect for landscape shooters who move a lot. The lever arca release is wonderful. Don’t listen to other else who says you need a secondary safety. You will never accidentally flick it. It is too well hidden under your camera for that. I’ve used that lever quick release on my work tripod for 3 years without a single mishap. It’s very strong and should not break. It’s been knocking around in my bag with my light stands with no issue. The knobs are well designed and very easy to lock down. The spring adjustable main knob is great. Once again, one 1/4 turn from loosey goosy to mighty tighty. This is great for lightweight run n gun landscaper. Maybe not too bad for portrait/wedding folks. Interior/architecture, product... not so much, just like any other ballheads. Good stuff... good stuff. 5 |

I was looking for a tripod that is sturdy, but easy to move and adjust, and I found it here! With one easy turn of only one knob, I get one leg to fully extend... So 3 knobs, 3 turns, and I get 3 fully extended legs, without having to bend over and mess with like 9 different knobs! I work really fast paced shoots, and the quicker I can get myself in position, the better, and now I have that advantage! Good flow too!!! The case is solid... Overall great investment, esp for the money... I think I got a deal!!! 5 |

I'll start off with stating that this is my first Gimbal for my a7iii setup. So far it was pretty simple to set up right out of the box and I was ready to shoot within about an hour of first opening it and learning how to balance it. I let the main body charge up a bit and gave it a shot. Menus seem really straightforward and everything is where you'd expect it to be. Touchscreen is very responsive and clear. What surprised me most was the tactile feel of the side control knob. I was not expecting it to have such a beautiful feel and operation. When off it free spins, but it's like they incorporated the motor technology into the knob because when you turn it on it becomes alive with very good feedback. Overall I'm super impressed so far and the kaizen carrying case is perfect. I only had one issue where when packing it up the the first time I must have had it in standby ready to go mode and when I zipped it up I heard it turn on. The power button placement makes this easy to do if it's not fully shutdown. I panicked and opened it as fast as I could and it took me a while to get it to turn off again. I think this could be an issue with any Gimbal, but it's just part of the learning curve. I don't think I did any damage so I'll chalk that up to learning the hard way and hope it doesn't happen again. So far feeling very inspired to start filming again and getting the most out of my camera from a video aspect for once. Thanks Manfrotto, solid as always. 5 |

Works vey well. Only one minor thing is the knob that is used to tighten the arm to the tripod is hard to turn. There isn't much of a grip on the knob. 5 |

I'm pretty happy with this item. It does what it's supposed to do and more. I even loaded it with a heavy Canon 1DX Mark II (see pictures). It will stay securely as long as you know what you're doing, as it kind of obviously exceeds what the specification would recommend but it can be done. Also holds a Canon M-50 with a heavy L series lens 24-105 easily. This item features a 5/8 threaded microphone stand type, but if you get an optional 5/8 to 3/8 or a 5/8 to 1/4-20 adapter, you can endlessly place this thing on every stand you can think of. The top plate, where things go, the rubber is very grippy, so your camera won't turn or slide, nor will scratch anything. No need to over tighten anything. Just turn the knob until is tightened enough. Cons: Sometimes, the ball gets a little difficult to freely move around even when the screw knob is loosened, but its just a little bit. When you have something loaded on this unit, that goes away. Overall 9.7 out of 10! Pretty happy with this. Planning to order one as I need more. Having read many if the other reviews i was prepared for the worse. After setting the Magnus Gimbal head on my tripod I figured that the vertical swing knob only needed two positions: locked and open. A short turn to the left unlocked the arm and it moved. Back to the right and it was locked again. The knob in my opinion didn't need to turn anymore than that. There was a wobble in the horizontal pan. I pulled the cover off, re-greased the shaft and put a bushing on screw holding horizontal shaft in place. Problem solved. Some WD-40 and a little graphite dust and everything moves great!!! Glad i didnt let a few bad reviews scare me away. Works great, great price. Now I have more money to make more purchases from B&H. I could have spent more, but this gimbal works great for me. 5 |
