Samsung Model 550 Sound Bar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had an older model Samsung sound bar and the upgrade to this model has been significant. I was able to unbox and setup within 10 minutes and it includes everything you need for various mounting forms etc. While I do not have much experience setting up speakers, Samsung has made it easy for me to plug in and connect to my television without the need for a professional. For the quality and sound of this sound bar you would expect to have some hard-wiring work done but this is not the case. I have it set up in the living room where I watch TV the most alongside family and friends. The surround sound is crisp, clean and immersive. The sound bar is sleek and provides a modern aesthetic. Did I mention you could connect to the sound bar wirelessly? You are able to connect to various smart devices like Amazon Alexa or Apple AirPlay with the smart integration system. Its powerful 5.1.2 Ch. True Dolby Atmos Sound makes my living room feel like a movie theater despite it being one system with a sound bar and subwoofer. Overall I'm highly impressed with the quality of this system and it's performance.

The sound is great on these speakers. I use them in conjunction with my Denon 550 sound bar as surround speakers. It is great not having to run speaker wires to the surrounds. You get great sound when using them to watch Dolby Atmos movies. You can also listen to music in multi channel stereo. I highly recommend these.

The Denon Home Sound Bar 550 is one fab sounding soundbar! Very musical, immersive and doesn’t take over your living space. True to the Denon audiophile DNA. That said, the remote is a bit chintzy. Such a quality soundbar should be paired with a better remote. Also, status lights give very little info/feedback. You have to listen attentively after selecting a mode change to see if it’s what you like. Yet, I wouldn’t part with the soundbar because sound is first with me.

Excellent sound bar. Far exceeds my Samsung.

It's been over a month ago since buying this model sound bar and I am totally pleased with it. I have another Vizio 5.1 Model in my living room that I got 4 years ago. Both models are excellent and have wonderful sounds. The setup the electronics are easy enough to connect and adjust to your own listening experience. I totally recommend this model and product.

My husband is a Samsung loyal customer and he wanted to add a some speakers to our living room tv. I actually didn’t think we needed these speakers but boy was I mistaken! The sounds that weren’t coming thru with just the tv is really shocking!! We were missing so much and I had no idea! I also like that it doesn’t take up much room for the amount of sound you get from just two speakers! These two Samsung speakers automatically optimize and calibrate to fit your space for the most accurate and clear sound. Scenes are analyzed in real time to pull out the most important audio based on the type of content. i purchased this model because it was a Vizio product. and it was 5.1, why not get the best out of a sound bar with five speakers. being a non electronic understanding person, i trusted Vizio to make this process pain free. boy was i happy, this bar comes with everything you will need to get it going. you plug it in and it does the rest. i could not believe that it was that simple, quick and instructions easy to understand, i would not hesitate to recommend this sound bar. oh by the way the sound separation is great, the base speaker does a good job and the rear speakers (surround sound) hold their own. i had to adjust the volume so that they would not over power the sound bar. the wife's christmas present is one i will enjoy for a long time, :p
