Samsung Monitor Cable Adapter

I used this cable to connect my laptop to the display port in a Samsung 21:9 Monitor. Working exactly as I expected. No issues.

I recently also bought a Samsung UHD monitor from B & H to use with my laptop, and though the monitor includes an HDMI cable, a friend recommended my buying the Mini DisplayPort Adapter Cable for even higher quality than the HDMI. Not only was it inexpensive, it definitely makes a worthwhile difference in sharper and richer picture quality, and would highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to improve their monitor picture quality.

Bought to connect Dell desktop 8700 to new Samsung monitor. connectors sit well. Picture on Monitor looks good. My son (physics grad student) said it was really nice (had bought him one too). Fairly stiff 1/4 cable.....like a typical VGA cable (it does have a lot of conductors). Gold connectors. Looks very nice.

It's as described: beautiful, fast, and functional. I'm using it with a decent Samsung external monitor — flawless. Migration Assistant worked very well from my old iMac 27 Retina using an old Thunderbolt 2 MiniDisplay cable with a USB C adapter. Some said it wouldn't work, but apparently the MacBook Air powered the cable and migrated the files. Since then, I've been working on files, backing up to an old Time Capsule, swapping files, and performing my usual tasks — this laptop doesn't even get warm! It's perfect.

This cable works well when connecting a monitor to your new USB-C MacBook Pro. The cable eliminates the need for an adapter and reduces the handshake between the MBP and the monitor.

Replaced the failing 30 monitor on my workstation, this adapter cable worked great connecting to new monitor that didn't have DVI connection.

I use this HDMI cable to connect my LCD monitor to my BMPCC via a micro HDMI adapter. It's perfect for that because it allows me to not have to worry about extra slack hanging around the camera and getting caught on something. I'm able to adjust the angle of the monitor on my EVF mount with plenty of room to spare. I'm glad I paid a little more for this higher quality cable.

We were hooking up an HDMI TV as a second monitor on a PC that had DisplayPort, this cable was perfect. It was the length we needed and avoided having to use an adapter from the DisplayPort on the PC to change to HDMI. Highly recommend use of this cable over a double ended HDMI cable and an adapter.

Needed this adapter to take HDMI to mini cable from my video camera into a 7" monitor and this adapter was the perfect size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the style of this adapter because it incorporates a short length of cable to the part that you plug your HDMI cable into. That’s because the adapters without a cable can end up being subjected to a lot of stress depending upon where you put your laptop. Any stress to the adapter is also stressing your port, and that’s not good. That’s why I like this design better. I also like this design because of the pass through charging port that is included. This allows you to charge your laptop using the same adapter that you’re using to power the external monitor. I don’t have a full 4K external monitor, but I do have a 32” QHD monitor, and this adapter easily handles it, and it looks great! My laptop has a small screen, so this gives me much better output options, and that’s easier on my eyes. I was just on an extended Zoom call, so I needed both USB-C ports for the monitor and webcam, but noticed that my laptop wouldn’t last through the end of the call. Not a problem, since I had the Belkin adapter! It worked flawlessly and I was able to use the external monitor while still charging my laptop. I was so glad to have this when I needed it. This is a simple product with a simple focus, and it does it well.
