Samsung Monitor Dims Automatically

Good light and dims very well.

We needed a new TV for our bedroom and after checking reviews for multiple brands and models, we chose the 40” Samsung N5200. The set up was very easy, especially if you download the SmartThings app. The TV does most of the set automatically and requires very little input. We are especially pleased with how easy this TV is to use, finding apps, down loading them and putting them in whatever order you want is a breeze. The picture is very clean and sharp and we love the auto dimming since it’s in our bedroom. We also love the auto turn off feature so we don’t have to set the sleep timer every night, the TV automatically does it every night at the time we choose. We were so happy with this TV, we returned to the store and bought a 55” UHD Samsung for our family room and love it so far as well.

I really like this monitor it's a definite upgrade from my 32" samsung.

I should win the money automatically because I didn’t purchase the standbye me I purchased the go… Bye the way it’s an awesome television… Only wish it had USB-C, came with a Bluetooth mouse and it could be used as a second monitor for laptop… Not Airplay external monitor…

Setup with this monitor is painless, plug it in and the drivers automatically install. Display pops on immediately afterwards. When used on my mobile, Samsung dex automatically comes on and the display immediately shows as well. The monitor comes with some magnets on the rear along with discs you sick to the surface of your monitor or other mounting location. Very useful for moving the monitor around, swaddling sides or just having out set up as a landscape display. It has three buttons at the edge which allow for adjustments to picture quality. Out of the box it looks great though. I love this as an additional portable monitor that works perfectly with my Surface 3 and my S20. The image is larger, more crisp, has great color and brightness. Honestly my only issue here is tag if I prefer to have the monitor separately in landscape mode I need to find a way to prop it up as the corners of the monitor that aren't attached to the sliding base are slightly lower, causing it to tilt and unable to stay upright. Unsure if other monitors of this kind offer that solution, but it's not a deal breaker for me. All in all, I love it and if I ever need a third display I know what I'm getting.

Works perfectly driving my monitor from either my MacBook Pro or my Mac Studio. Automatically switches when either is powered up, or switch input manually. One note: I had trouble with mix/match outputs from computers ie one usb-c/ one hdmi) , but changing both to usb-c made all good.

I use it for my computer with attached monitor & audio equipment. When I shutdown the computer, the monitor & audio also shut down automatically. One can use it also on a TV & receiver & Sound system.

I like that it's unobtrusive and dims super low, but I wish they had a headlight version. You definitely won't bother other photographers with this unit.
