Samsung Monitor White Screen Problem

I have used the ASUS ROG STRIX 32 4K HDR 160 Hz Gaming Monitor for over three months now and I still love it the way I did day one. This ASUS monitor replaced a low-end Samsung 27 monitor that I have had for a long time. Before the Samsung monitor, I had one of the first Gateway 1080P 27 monitors (which was a great gaming monitor in its day). I now wanted a new monitor to replace my Samsung due to my recent computer upgrade (which will easily go to 4K resolution with my new 4070TI Nvidia video card) during the Christmas holidays. I saw the ASUS (and I am a big ASUS fan) here on B&H, researched a little, and decided to pull the trigger on the purchase. I was not disappointed at all, even though the price was a little steeper than what I was looking to spend. This ASUS monitor is very fast, and the colors are vibrant and true. Its stand is one of the best that I have seen and owned. The on-screen menu is very informative with the availability of a few tweaks and features not found on other monitors in this class. If you are into digital creation, this should be one of the monitors for you to consider. Lastly, with an industry leading 2-year warranty from ASUS (register it at ASUS to be sure you are in the system), you can't go wrong if you are in the market looking for a higher quality 32 4K monitor. You can buy the latest PC build, but don't hesitate to upgrade what matters most, the screen on which you work/play. I would definitely buy another one of these ... if I only had room on my desk. Maybe a desk upgrade is in my future ... 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor may be heavy, but it is well made. I love to use this monitor for two PCs, either dividing the screen or using the entire screen for each. I even use the screen for Samsung Dex from my phone as well. On top of being a great multitasking monitor, I love that the monitor supports HDR10 and Freesync. At first when I got the monitor, the monitor made crackling sounds but now there are no sounds as Samsung said its normal for curved displays. Although this monitor may be huge, this monitor saves desk space and it is sleek. Since this monitor is VESA compatible, I went further by purchasing a monitor arm, made specifically for this monitor and frankly pairing these two is a game changer! 5 |

I am very happy about this monitor, It is very lightweight and super bright, good quality external screen. I am using it to attach my new Samsung S21 mobile. I am using Samsung Dex on this screen. Very easy to install and plug and play screen. Resolution is good to see HD movies or play HD game. Screen can be used both landscape and portrait mode. This is excellent monitor at this price. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An ultra wide monitor with thunderbolt ports from Samsung?? What more can you ask for! I was surprised with how huge the box was when this flagship monitor came in. I felt like I ordered a new television. The ultrawide 34" screen makes you feel immersed as you watch movies or play games 21:9. I also love the sound quality this monitor makes. It almost felt like a surround sound system and I was amazed as how great the stock speakers were. Some specs of the CJ791 is that it has a refresh rate of 100hz, 4ms response time, 3440x1440 screen resolution, and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. Although it isn't an IPS monitor, the QLED technology covers more than 125% of the sRGB color space making it a great monitor for video editing as well. It's a productivity monster when I used Adobe Premeire for video editing. I could fit the whole time onscreen and then some! The CJ791 also comes with AMD free sync and a game mode optimizing responsiveness and screen lag. The thunderbolt connections take the win for this monitor giving it the crown for one of the first monitors from Samsung with this connectivity. It can transmit video and data at speeds of up to 40Gbps — 8 times faster than USB 3.0 — and simultaneously charges devices (up to 85W), all over a single cable. Thanks to the Insiders for letting me test out another great product from Samsung! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the wide screen of the Samsung monitor. I use it for work mostly. The wide screen offers ease of viewing two screens at once while I'm working. I love the picture on it when I'm streaming my shows. Unfortunately my grandson was playing ninja turtle and hit my screen with his sword. 5 |

I've had this monitor for a year. I work full-time as an editor (90% in Premiere). Having 2160 pixels of vertical real estate is very important in my workflow, and it's hard to find in an ultra wide monitor. Replacing my dual 28 4k panels with this one was a bigger upgrade than I thought it would be. So nice to have no bezel in front of me. Colors are accurate enough for editing and preliminary/rough color work. I haven't had any connectivity issues with my computer going to sleep or not recognizing the display. Everything looks sharp, and the variable refresh up to 72Hz enough for what I need. I'm on a Mac Studio M1 Max, with a mini DisplayPort to full size DisplayPort cable running straight into the panel - not through any thunderbolt hubs or breakout boxes. I have found using Thunderbolt to carry the display signal to be occasionally glitchy over the years, so I have abandoned it to keep things simple and (hopefully) reliable. One caution that others have mentioned: If you are in a VERY bright room, you'll need a brighter screen. My office has lots of windows, white walls, and white cabinets. On a cloudy day, I can work with all the shades open. On a sunny day, I need to lower 1 or 2 of the shades. To me, the brightness is reasonable and the anti glare matte screen is as good as I expect paying this much for a monitor. 5 |

A good light monitor, everything that says the specs work well, I would have liked more if you could focus the focus with the black and white screen, but it can also be done with a lut, and it would be great if you could. move windows on the screen but no, they are fixed and cannot be moved. The technical service and customer service of feelworld is excellent 5 |

I tell all my friends to avoid buying this monitor because as soon as you do, you will want to look at all your old photo edits on it. When you do that you will realize that the things you that were white were really only almost white. The things you thought were black were almost black. The skin you thought was beautiful was actually a bit too orange. All this because you edited on a monitor that was lousy compared to this one. Admittedly the price tag was hard to swallow when buying a first pro-level screen, but having now experienced the difference, I would spend it again without a blink. My customers have taken notice and asked What's different lately? Your photos have gotten much better! It's a painful compliment, but affirms the decision to put a professional quality screen between my professional camera and my final product with customers expecting professional results. If I had to list a negative, it would only be that I have not yet figured out how to make some old ROES programs take advantage of the resolution, so they end up being very very very small on the screen. 5 |
