This is now the third Samsung 850 PRO SSD that I have purchased. First my laptop (7 year old MacBook Pro) now flies. Then the 3 year old Mac Mini boots in 40 seconds! I am now transferring the hard drive contents from my wife's 5 year old iMac and I expect fantastic results. Given the 10 year warrantee from Samsung I may never have to buy another! I am using it with a Samsung 980 PRO 2TB inside and so far no problems. I have not tested its speed yet. I bought it because I did not want, and don't want yet, to install the M.2 SSD inside my laptop - which has room for a 2nd SSD, since the laptop is brand new. 5 |
