I tried everything to mount my Samsung Odyssey G9. I tried heavy-duty mounts from every company, I tried bolting things in place, and I tried everything short of welding a bracket for the monitor. I still ended up with this Ergotron arm with the HD Pivot. I am so glad that I ended up biting the bullet. Setup was easy, the only issue I had was that I needed to reinforce the desk with wooden boards because the weight was too much for my Ikea desktop. Other than that I am looking at a pile of arms I tried that did not work and realizing that I spent more than the cost of this arm trying to find a cheaper alternative. Learn from my mistake and just go with this one from the start.

The picture is crystal clear and adapts to any game type you play (first person shooters, sports, role playing, strategy, simulation, and adventure games). Only downside is that it has no speakers so you will need external speakers if you wish to not use a headset. The quality is so good, I just ordered the Samsung Neo QLED 8k for all my streaming purposes.

Even though it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, it's not fully compatible with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S The contrast ratio is very good, and the curved screen size makes for an immersive gaming experience.

The color quality is awesome, thanks to the OLED technology. Unlike normal LED screens that go to a dark gray when displaying black, this monitor achieves true black by turning the pixels all the way off. You really do get what you pay for. I needed a monitor arm for my CHG90 samsung monitor and initially tried the loctek D7L which some users had had luck with for this monitor. Unfortunately, it couldn't hold the weight and broke when trying to add resistance to the vertical tilt mechanism. All roads led me to this ergotron monitor arm which is rated for up to 42lbs. Although this was double the price of the loctek, it was worth it. The build quality is exceptional - it feels very durable and well made, while also looking very nice rather than too industrial. Adding and removing tension is extremely easy and assembling this arm was a piece of cake. My monitor weighs in around 26lbs without the stand give or take and this stand has absolutely no issues staying where I set it after setting the tension properly. Form, function and aesthetic are great. My only small complaint would be that I wish bottom arm could swivel 360 degrees instead of 180, and I wish the arm fully extended to be slightly longer, but these are minor complaints. I would recommend this to anyone with a heavier monitor and I wish I had went with this unit sooner.

I installed a 34 inch Samsung S34J55x on this arm and it works perfectly. The monitor weighs about 15 lbs. The arm allows me to position the monitor so that the viewing distance is about 18 inches. The arm extends the monitor about 22 inches from its base. This is my second successful Ergotron install. Several years ago I installed two 24 inch monitors on an Ergotron dual monitor arm. The results were excellent which led to my purchase of the LX model.

I needed an arm that could handle the Samsung 49-inch gaming monitor, and this came highly recommended. Easy to install, solid and easy to adjust. Hold my monitor at its odd angle and doesn't droop. Couldn't ask for more.
