Samsung Odyssey G9 Soundbar

I tried everything to mount my Samsung Odyssey G9. I tried heavy-duty mounts from every company, I tried bolting things in place, and I tried everything short of welding a bracket for the monitor. I still ended up with this Ergotron arm with the HD Pivot. I am so glad that I ended up biting the bullet. Setup was easy, the only issue I had was that I needed to reinforce the desk with wooden boards because the weight was too much for my Ikea desktop. Other than that I am looking at a pile of arms I tried that did not work and realizing that I spent more than the cost of this arm trying to find a cheaper alternative. Learn from my mistake and just go with this one from the start.

Great product, works as intended. Works perfectly with my Odyssey G9. One thing to note is when trying to just the viewing angle of the monitor itself be sure to raise the G9s angle higher than intended as the mounting bracket that comes with the G9 hangs at a slight angle. This makes it so the monitor itself will adjust to a lower angle naturally. Correct this by overcompensating vertically so it falls into the correct position when you tighten the tension arm.

I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought the slimness of this soundbar may not produce good enough sound, however I was pleasantly surprised when I fired up one of the Marvel movies and the sound was pretty good! The subwoofer also did not disappoint, the deep bass was just enough for our living room. I liked the handy remote, and the soundbar sits unobtrusively with our TV and pumps awesome theatrical Dolby Atmos. I would definitely recommend this Soundbar to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system, as it is easily installed and ready to wow you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a standalone soundbar without a subwoofer from a different brand which wasn’t too bad but having the Samsung QN-95B 75” TV and knowing what the built-in TV speakers were capable off I was also missing out on using them until I discovered Q-Symphony that allows the TV Speakers to be used in addition to the soundbar. The Samsung HW-S700D Soundbar was a perfect fit was my living space and served this purpose extremely well. The Soundbar and Subwoofer was super easy to setup. Although wireless capable, I chose to use the HDMI cable provided and it was an instant detection and pairing. My Samsung TV automatically recognized the Q-Symphony compatibility and adjusted the sound accordingly for maximum balance and range. The SpaceFit Sound Pro worked its magic to utilize the position and space and adjust automatically even while watching content in real time. No other setup required. I moved the subwoofer to various positions, and ultimately had it next to the sofa which enhanced the bass and feel. The Soundbar and Subwoofer provide great sound levels with well-balanced Treble, Mid, and Bass levels. The bass was a much-needed addition and gave the overall feel a more realistic vibe specially when watching movies and certainly listen to music. The bar is super slim yet performed extremely well for its form factor. It took up much less space than other soundbars and the overall design is super sleek to blend in with my room decor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q800D Soundbar is mind blowing with how clear and satisfying it sounds. I have a few Samsung sound bars and I can't believe how Samsung keeps raising the bar (lol) every time. This soundbar shines with Dolby Atmos content, the immersion is surprisingly better than some home theater setups that are much more expensive. I wish there were more HDMI inputs on the soundbar and that it could support waking up when using a PC. But other than that, this soundbar has modern features that'll work in any smart home ecosystem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 monitor is the best monitor I’ve ever used. The picture is crystal clear and adapts to any game type you play (first person shooters, sports, role playing, strategy, simulation, and adventure games). Only downside is that it has no speakers so you will need external speakers if you wish to not use a headset. The quality is so good, I just ordered the Samsung Neo QLED 8k for all my streaming purposes.
