The voices are crisp, music sounds great! If you have a compatible Samsung TV; you can have the best of both worlds with something known as Q-symphony. It combines the soundbar and Tv speakers into a beautiful immersive sounding experience. Another feature which really sets this soundbar above and beyond is active voice amplifier. Picture this, let’s say you are watching a show or movie with high background noise and the characters are talking. By having AVA on it will pickup on the noise and amplify the characters taking; so no dialogue is potentially lost and you don’t need to question what was said. The clarification of dialogue allows me to focus on the show without missing any exciting action. If you’re a gamer like my kids are, take advantage of Samsung’s game mode which is found in this soundbar. It provides more immersion and uses the up firing speakers for more intense sound effects from your gaming if you have the latest systems. If music is more your thing, it offers chrome cast and airplay support which provides better quality than your average Bluetooth connection as well Spotify connect. Awesome soundbar! I have the HW-S800D paired with the 9500s rear speakers and maaaan, this sound bar really shines!. The Dolby Atmos sound is amazing. You hear every detail coming from all angles even above your head. Everything works seamlessly with the Q-symphony feature from my S95C. I also had the S800B which was also great, but I noticed the S800D really sounds more crisp and detailed thanks to the updated eARC cable. I'm so impressed with the sound/imaging and resolution that comes out of this soundbar, so much so, I end up not watching TV and just listen to Apple music for hours. Listening to spatial audio tracks on this set up is mind blowing its like a 3D soundcoming from a concert hall. Micheal Jackson's thriller sounds like a movie coming from the HW-S800D. I can go on & on, but to sum it up! Worth every penny! Great, fun listening experience ! O and the bass thumps also!

I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought the slimness of this soundbar may not produce good enough sound, however I was pleasantly surprised when I fired up one of the Marvel movies and the sound was pretty good! The subwoofer also did not disappoint, the deep bass was just enough for our living room. I liked the handy remote, and the soundbar sits unobtrusively with our TV and pumps awesome theatrical Dolby Atmos. I would definitely recommend this Soundbar to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system, as it is easily installed and ready to wow you.

I have a few Samsung sound bars and I can't believe how Samsung keeps raising the bar (lol) every time. This soundbar shines with Dolby Atmos content, the immersion is surprisingly better than some home theater setups that are much more expensive. I wish there were more HDMI inputs on the soundbar and that it could support waking up when using a PC. But other than that, this soundbar has modern features that'll work in any smart home ecosystem.

As a result, it not only looks great just about anywhere, but sounds much much bigger. After adding this device to my SmartThings app, the Soundbar seamlessly/wirelessly connected to my Samsung OLED TV. The sound quality is amazing, with almost any feature you can think of (i.e. Dolby atmos, voice amplifier and enhancement, adaptive sound, etc.). The bass that the subwoofer provides is spectacular. It truly feels like an immersive theatre experience when watching movies and shows. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality soundbar addition to their home.
