I have a dash cam and like to keep that memory clear so I often remove in between drives and upload all data from my trips. I do not own a desktop computer so this is a great product for my laptop. The first time used and without knowing what to expect I plugged it in and walked away thinking it would take a while however with the 200mb/s it took next to nothing. I was grateful and really surprised. My cellphone also has alot of pictures in which they always try to get me to purchase more storage. With this product, I removed alot of photos from my phone to free up space and was surprised I still had so much space left with it being 128 GB. It's to the point now where I am just finding things to upload to the card. Having the reader come with the sd card is a game changer as usually you would have to purchase both parts separately. I am not a person who usually pay attention to storage space and with this product, I can confidently say I really don't have to as this product has everything I need and more. It also helps that Samsung is my favorite brand!!!!!!!

I am thrilled with how quickly video files upload from my SD card to my computer using this USB 3 card reader. It is an excellent product and works flawlessly, saving me a great deal of time. What formerly took 23 minutes is now accomlished in a little more than one minute. I highly recommend it.

We use this to upload photos to our iPad Air (5). It is much faster to use the sd card adapter than using camera based WiFi to transfer photos to the iPad. When traveling, we often have an iPad with us for internet access. We've made it a habit to upload our photos to our iPad which further backs-up the photos to iCloud. We will also use this adapter with a new iMac since Apple has removed the built-in sd card reader from the M1 desktop iMac.

Bought this originally as a phone sd card for an S21 and it's camera but I ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 1... The Red Raider... And it worked wonders for it... I use that 4k Chromebook as a home Media Center... And the transfer speeds...as well as the Reliability... Hands down.. Samsung products are my Goto... And this Item is just proof of why.

Since my new Mac doesn't have the older USB ports or sd card reader, this has really come in handy!!

They Hyperdrive is perfect for anyone with a new Mac who still frequently needs to use past USB devices, connect to displays or get footage off SD cards.  The best feature is its portability and build quality for the price. In fact, our small business now automatically purchases these automatically with the purchase of every new Mac since it's only a bit more expensive than Apple's AV multiport adapter. A couple notes (not negatives, but you should be aware of): 1. The SD card port is mounted upside down and it's a shallow connection, so don't be rough trying to cram an SD card in there. 2. The Mini DisplayPort connector is just for displays. It will not work with Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 devices.

I got this to pair with my mac studio and it works flawlessly. The fact that I can charge my phone and other accessories while offloading footage from an SD card and a Micro SD card at the same time is great. I have a gazillion SSD's and Cast card readers that can stay hooked up now. Living the dream baby!
