While there may have been reports of 5000 series chips failing or 5800x running hot, I can say my experience with the 5800x has been nothing short of great. Installation was a breeze and a decent AIO keeps it in very comfortable operating temps. No complaints to be had from me! 5 |

I've used several NVME's, and right now the Samsung EVO series continues to be the leader in performance, thermals, and longevity. While I've had other brands heat up to near volcanic temperatures, the EVO series gets hot, but never TOO hot. This not only makes it great for laptops where you don't have room for a massive heatsink, but also portable enclosures as well. A++ for this drive. 5 |

Not sure why I didn't do this before, but I kept running out of space on my laptop. Upgrading was simple and fast using Samsung's migration tool.. The Samsung SSD I replaced with this worked flawlessly so I hope this one does too.. So far so good!! 5 |

When my Samsung Series 7 laptop started making loud noises, I knew I had a problem. If you've ever had a HHD fail, you know the sound I'm talking about. I ran to Bestbuy to pickup a SSD to replace my HHD and they didn't have the cable I needed. Dead in the water... I searched online for a USB 3.0 to 2.5 SATA III drive adapter cable and found some crazy expensive options. With a little more digging I found H&B Photo. They had the cable in stock at a great price and shipped it overnight to me. Within 24 hours the SSD was installed and I was up and running. NOW my machine is CRAZY fast and whisper quiet. Should have had the HHD fail years ago! Thanks H&B! 5 |
