When my Samsung Series 7 laptop started making loud noises, I knew I had a problem. If you've ever had a HHD fail, you know the sound I'm talking about. I ran to Bestbuy to pickup a SSD to replace my HHD and they didn't have the cable I needed. Dead in the water... I searched online for a USB 3.0 to 2.5 SATA III drive adapter cable and found some crazy expensive options. With a little more digging I found H&B Photo. They had the cable in stock at a great price and shipped it overnight to me. Within 24 hours the SSD was installed and I was up and running. NOW my machine is CRAZY fast and whisper quiet. This is the cheaper of the series but a great keyboard and mouse for the price. It is lacking a few items (LEDs to indicate NUM-Lock and CAP-Lock) but these aren't things I needed. I'm using with a laptop - nice to plug in a single USB transmitter into the laptop to get both Keyboard and Mouse working (versus plugging in two things). Comes right up for me (Windows7) with no need to install any special drivers. 5 |
